They saw projectiles being fired at the area where the the trucks were and set alight. Easy to misidentify tear gas bombs for molotov cocktails when they're getting thrown about from all directions imo. And they repeatedly said they couldn't confirm what caused the fires. You seem more keen on blaming the FAKE MEDIA SAD than Pence, Trump and little Rubio for promoting the story. And Trump's other FAKE NEWS producer has disproved it. NotThePars
Glenn Greenwald is class. Got to respect the guy’s commitment to posting and arguing online.

NotThePars
I suspect CNN aren't giving him gigs.I disagree with his stance on freedom of speech and where you choose to platform specific ideas but I will at least acknowledge that he comes across as completely sincere in his belief of it. And he’s willing to debate his beliefs to the bitter end. His appearance on Bill Maher where he slaughtered Maher for his pro-American empire was class.

Detournement
Glenn Greenwald is brilliant. It also has to be remembered that one of his friends was murdered by a Brazilian militia linked to the Bolsonaros and that he and his husband are being harassed by the new ruling party. That he isn't backing down or returning to the USA takes balls.
NotThePars
This bit? Can't disagree from the clip. Yeah! I understand his argument that he needs to go on these shows and provide a counter argument and tbf I have more faith in his ability to do that. I’m still not wholly convinced, however.

I'd imagine some legal dangers in the US might be part of his considerations.
Detournement
He travels back regularly although I think he had some problems bringing his husband in.

Imagine a Democrat saying that the electorate should decide whether or not to get rid of Trump. Shocking! Never mind needing 2/3rds of the Republican led Senate to agree to an impeachment. Detournement
I think the issue is spending two years saying he was guilty of treason and should be impeached then immediately backtracking when she has the opportunity to do so. As Greenwald says she may be compromised by Russia or it might be that she is a corporate hack who can't criticise Trump on policy so had to rely on a disinformation campaign.

Utter bollocks, she hasn't the power to impeach him and Greeny was joking about the the Russkies. AFAIK Pelosi hasn't accused Trump of treason, just that the investigations should continue. Paco
It would be stupid to try to impeach Trump unless there’s anything found on the level of the Watergate tapes. Realistically all it would do is motivate people to vote for him in 2020 if it appeared to be unfair, like Clinton in 1996. Shagging porn stats and hushing it up isn’t really ‘high crimes and misdemeanours’, and nor is employing guys like Manafort, regardless of how shady he was. Pelosi is really just saying the reality of it all. Let it play out and I find it very unlikely he’ll win again.
