Clyde01
yes indeed, seems like every single Colts team that was playing another senior team lost tonight Apart from Motherwell colts scudding east Stirling I suppose?

The fact that he's presumably absolutely garbage shouldn't hide how much of a farce that is. I only found out that fact today! At the game he was putting himself about and caused a couple of moments of danger, but the idea he is a Serie A striker is hilarious. He got booked for diving, and if someone had said he was a big prospect of a lad on loan from Birmingham City or some other dross nobody would have blinked.

After watching the game last night between Annan Athletic and Celtic Colts. Annan won 4-0. Celtic Colts never came close to scoring. This was the second year in a row Annan have beat Celtic Colts. If you do it again next year do you get to keep them ?

Fair point guys...........I thought that the Lowland & Highland leagues were Regional leagues, but I assume that since the pyramid system was adopted that they now come under the senior league system? Personally I think the whole system's gone to hell on a handcart since the demise of ES Clydebank
Cowden Cowboy
Fair point guys...........I thought that the Lowland & Highland leagues were Regional leagues, but I assume that since the pyramid system was adopted that they now come under the senior league system? Personally I think the whole system's gone to hell on a handcart since the demise of ES Clydebank Both Leagues have been senior since they were first formed as have the East of Scotland and South of Scotland. Always been lots of senior clubs outwith those in Scottish Leagues - nothing to do with Pyramid system

Cowden Cowboy
Have a well-earned greenie Gene - you got him! End of debate.Hardly, they may improve in either environment but 11 potentially can benefit playing v L2 teams every week whereas the numbers will be much less in 1st team.

Annan v Celtic 'B' 266 at Annan at a fiver a ticket. So more folk last year despite being £12 entry then. Hat-trick for Aidan Smith last season, local lad only 20 yrs old at the time. 2 goals for Ross Ferguson this time, another local, just 21. Lots of possession for the Celtic kids along the halfway line but rarely threatening. Annan contained them and took their chances well.
