lowenan
Probably not the best supported club, but I’m happy to see they are doing well now. Hope to see them in the EOS Premier.
GNU_Linux
Have the club ever utilised the 3G surface within the complex? I know its a bit of a 'souless cage' affair but it looks like it'd be useable if needed for a one off.

Saw WW play they there in pre-season a couple of years ago. Even their U20s play at Meggetland 3G instead.

FairWeatherFan
They played East Stirlingshire at Ainslie Park and the EoS Fixture list was set up for it as well with a number of Friday night games.

A poster on NLM is also reporting that they're headed back to Saughton Enclosure claiming: "That was their plan once the athletes moved back to Meadowbank." If this is correct then would FC Edinburgh, Leith Athletic and LTHV's moves create spaces for other clubs to play, next season, in the EoS, on the grounds which they have vacated. Perhaps another club could ground share at Saughton Enclosure? Edited July 18, 2022 by Dev .
Dev
Posts on NLM again: 1: "They were also working on getting a community transfer scheme to take over the running of Saughton Enclosure themselves. Not sure if that has happened yet." 2: "Spoke to the Hutchie manager on Saturday. They will be staying at Ainslie Park, hence the occasional Friday night game." Sounds as though LTHV may be working towards a return to Saughton Enclosure. We shall see.
tamthebam
Interesting. There's plenty of room to expand Saughton into a decent football venue and the parent club Hutchi Vale might have the funds if not, as a youth community club, the profile to get an improvement grant If they stuck a 4G in they could run it like Haddington Athletic run the pitch in Haddington and they'll be quids in

A 4G would deal with that too.

The current 3G pitch not in the enclosure is well over the year 10 years advised replacement... Infact i'd go as far as saying it's a no G pitch now! Edinburgh Leisure just don't care.
