Bully Wee Villa
I remember there being some trouble. Couldn't remember if it was on or off the pitch or both. That's why I immediately thought they must have been close during the period mentioned.
booj1893
I take it they are expecting two sides playing for a draw tonight in the Ghana game as it's evens on ladbrokes for the draw
DutchBorderer
Would be a good upset to see Mali leave the group rather than Egypt, but I reckon Ghana will settle for a bore draw to conserve energy and secure first place in the group. Bully Wee Villa
I assume Burkina Faso have never won it before so I'll support them.
NewHope
Cameroon v Senegal and Egypt v Morocco. Egypt's 44-year-old keeper is yet to concede a goal at the tournament.
NewHope
Burkina Faso have never been champions and rather surprisingly, neither have Senegal. All the others have at least one title to their name. DR Congo won it in 1974 when known as Zaire, as Scotland fans of a certain vintage will no doubt recall. NewHope
It's always been the Indomitable Lions for me ever since Roger Milla decided to dance a dainty samba with the corner flag.

Blootoon87
This Egypt v Morocco game is the first I've seen of it this year. I've got to say lads, I'm underwhelmed.

NewHope
The tournament has been generally poor in terms of excitement. It's the way modern football is headed these days. The AfCoN usually throws up some great games but there have only been one or two this time around in the first round.
NewHope
This Cameroon team is poor too. I am sorely tempted to plump for Ghana, even if it is for the sole fact that Asamoah Gyan resembles the great Jimmy Cliff so much.
lonewolfie
Most games it's arms and legs flailing everywhere, players falling over, feigning injury non-stop, shocking pitches, naive officials, and empty stadiums. What's not to like?
NewHope
Cameroon AfCoN Champions 2017 Egypt 1 - 2 Cameroon 5th title for the Indomitable Lions. Good to see them give the Pharoahs a guard of honour too.
