It's a shame that Scottish fitba only appears at the top of the sporting pile uk-wide when this utter gang of a club are making an arse of themselves.

I envy Morton getting to be the first set of fans to pop in past Greyscull to have some fun.

A guy who has made millions on the stocks and quite clearly has some decent financial knowledge, 'resigns' from the total financial laughing stock that is Rangers

I thought when they called him a 'city banker' it was just rhyming slang.

Pretty sure it was the agents who made the deals and offers and also is it not some bizzarre form of Scottish law that an agreement doesn't need to be written for it to be official ?

"In Scots law a verbal contract is legally binding, it is called an onerous contract. Witnesses and stuff that heard the agreement being made will assist your case"

Then it will be interesting to hear from the person who put up the statement on the Rangers website. He can tell us exactly the where and when this happened.

With Warberton saying it is not true then we should also hear from the agent representing Weir and Warberton. Clear things up.

Hm?  Spot a flaw in my argument.

Yes.

Firstly, we don't all regard you as an entirely new club.

Secondly, old, new or otherwise, most of us detest the thing that has shambolically got rid of its manager and are really enjoying watching the mess unfold.

Talk is that Warburton was due a large bonus for qualifying for Europe, that he heard of Forest interest and asked the club to give up their right to compensation, club said theyd only do that if he resigned first, his agent created a letter, unsigned, and handed it to the board.

Forest never approached him, club realised they could punt him for nothing, saving themselves paying out a bonus. They've used the letter as a resignation while Warburton, who never signed it, expected it to be forgotten about.

Rangers have no money, and won't even make it through March, which is why the likes of Miller aren't being offered a new deal. They desperately need more loans, and hope a "ambitious" approach (by sacking the manager and claiming he's nowhere near reaching their targets") can attract further financial investment from personal investors.

Agreed. The story also said the Rangers agreed to waive the compensation (which I took to mean that they would get from Forest) but I doubt there is any chance they would have agreed to that, they are desperate for cash - you can alder that in the way they have had the record try to advertise their players all through the window.

There's every chance that Rangers would have agreed to that.

If the only way they'd go to Forest required no compensation, that's still a great offer for Rangers, given that they wanted rid.  This way, Rangers wouldn't need to sack them and pay up their contracts.

No idea why you're using these pathetic tropes, bud.  All I did was point out that P&B is doing its usual "Rangers First" thing and you're a guilty party.  Then again, you seemingly love The Sevco.

We have been on the verge of administration for the last 5 years a according to rumours and various posters on here so on so I will take any stories of our impending doom with the pinch of salt it deserves considering the whole point of administration is to protect a company from creditors of which we have none - very little  . Reality is we and mark warburton have made an arse of this scenario and no side is going to come out looking rosy
