Snp shouts the loudest but the silent majority wins

It's a lot more complicated than that. It's a big assumption that all Labour votes in Scotland are No votes.

This election was dominated in the media by May vs Corbyn - that polarisation did not help the SNP. Davidson may have won the battle but in the long run will lose the war.

Defo. Don't know the stats bur everyone result I've checked turnouts been down by some way. Definitely need a hard look at the campaign style and content.

Age breakdown will be relevant here too. Wondering if crap weather did reduce young voter turnout?

Thought the 4000 majority in East Renfrewshire would be safe but going by some of the majorities that have collapsed tonight, the reports that the Tories will take the seat don't look too far wrong

It's looking like a bad night for the SNP, tbf they were probably due one. Lets not forget that they'll win this election as they've won every major ballot for the last 10 years.

People need to put it in perspective.

2015 was a freak result.

Always on the defensive this campaign, defending basically every seat in Scotland.

Support for Independence still polls between 40 - 50 %.

Any young people that didn't vote due to the rain can go and drown in a puddle as far as I'm concerned

SNP just hold Inverclyde. Ronnie Cowan is possibly the poorest SNP MP of the last intake after Natalie McGarry (retweeting GA Ponsonby, trolls etc) - but the Labour candidate McCluskey accused journalist Mandy Rhodes of being paid by the SNP...

Possibly fair comment but the young vote is the backbone of the yes vote. Knowing if / they didn't turnout is vital.

Does this mean the Tory surge in Scotland was for real?

It's not a Tory surge.

It's the Ulster lite card played by Davidson resonating with thick as shit people who 'cannae stand thon Sturgeon' .
