June 8th General Election

Mudder

Scotland loves Tory, England doesn't right enough.

Getting Salmond, Robertson and Ahmed-Sheikh in one night is absolutely glorious scenes.

May has to go and she will today surely. Let's hope Sturgeon stays :)

Surely forming a Government with a majority of 1 is doomed from the start. One by-election in the next five years and the whole thing falls apart.

It is absolutely doomed.  Any back bench rebellion could bring the entire government crumbling down.

Strong and stable indeed.

Good morning gentleman, haven't posted in a wee while. The overall GE result has proved quite a surprise. With regards to Brexit negotiations, the result will surely make our 'choices' increasingly difficult. That said, the possibilities of a second Ref in Scotland look decidedly remote. It's not all bad eh!? [emoji6]

and got stuck onto the right wing surge in Scotland

It's not so much right wing in Scotland it's just anti independence which has caused this. Too much independence talk since Brexit and a weak Scottish Labour Party has caused this.

Just shows how arrogant you've all been and continue to be. You all KNOW better than everyone else what's best for their lives....or so you think.
Came back to bite you on the arse.

Good to see you back posting on your original account after previously making an arse of yourself on another.

Ahmed Sheikh is a bonus for the SNP. Thank f**k she won't be on Question Time anytime soon. The other two are sore ones.

Definitely a Pyrrhic victory for the SNP. Still the largest percentage of votes and most seats but a sore one nonetheless.

So, DUP and Tories to agree a coalition with Johnson as PM?

I fucking despair..

The irony of Corbyn's surge is that it pulls the probable UK government even further to the right.

Still a majority, but questions do need to be asked and Sturgeon needs to review not just the policies, but how they'd approach another snap election.
