Probably the only squad member left without a miss against his name this season....

Not really our run of misses have been Brett, Renton, Carrick (2), Mullen and Miller.

A draw was probably a fair result although Jamie was the busier of the two keepers.

East Kilbride went to ground at every opportunity looking for free kicks, penalties and bookings for the opposition. They aren't a football team.

A poor performance from us today a little better second half when we showed more composure and played the ball on the deck as opposed to aimless punts which was the theme first half. Lewis Moore effective running at the EK defence and Sime did well as a make shift LB. some timely saves from Jamie too Carrick, Henderson, Miller not at the races & McLaughlan :shutup. Robbie looked lively when he came on too.

Credit to EK & organised  outfit & a real threat throughout as I thought they would be too many people writing them off based on I don't know what.  The issue of penalties needs to be addressed we need to stick with our strikers & or Mullen who hits a great dead ball & only missed at Annan as he lost his footing. Personally today I would have had Moore take it as was playing well & confident whereas Kyle not having his best game just adding more personal pressure.

It is all there to play for & if we play the way we have in preceding games we give ourselves a good shout but again a tough tie & I believe EK would give the majority of League 2 sides  a run for their money they are where they are on ability & merit.

I hope we can get a good number at home behind the team & I think Zorro may also be back too to add his energy & enthusiasm.

Finally thanks you to all at EK for their hospitality nice genuine people and a good set up behind the scenes.

PS Congrats again to your U20's on winning their league.

Thanks Blue.  It's always nice to read a fair and balanced opinion.  I really enjoyed the match today.  It was keenly fought with both teams looking to attack at every opportunity.

I believed I could see a clear difference in your team versus most opponents we have played at home in the LL this season...bigger, better, faster, stronger.

That said I felt we gave you a real game and had good chances to score, hopefully to anyone that hasn't been to K Park before it was a good advert for the Lowland league.

I look forward to next weeks trip to CP.

If we play like that next week it's Lowland League football to be perfectly blunt as today there was huge question marks of some players overall application today considering what is at stake!

Didnt seem to me they had been watching when the sunshines maybe they need to watch the fighting spirit of a team that won at East End!!

I hope some arent on Pre Contracts as we didn't look like a team battling for survival

Baffled how Miller got to take the penalty

Massive next Saturday and hopefully we do it and if we don't then quite simply we deserve to go down and thanks to Fox who should have been punted months ago despite the clear warning signs!

The player's need to apply themselves 100 percent next Saturday as quite simply this season has been horrific for everyone connected to the club. Hoofball is no use as I am sick and tired of seeing the ball lumped to Renton

I will be extremely angry if we get relegated to EK as that is the worst soulless game I have attended in my life if thats what champions atmosphere in the Lowland League feels like well I say no more!

The player's cannot afford to be gutless next week as next Saturday really is Do or Die for this great wee Football Club

I wouldn't like to be the Cowdenbeath players at Full Time if they let us down as there won't be any happy clappers that's for sure!

Hope Neil is back to fire the player's up next week

So we need to stick with our strikers and/or Mullen for penalties? Then you suggest Moore should have taken it today who is neither a striker and/or Mullen.

Where does the idea that Mullen is a dead ball specialist come from? He has scored twice this season - both in the same game. One was an absolutely cracking free kick and the other deceived everyone and really the keeper should have had it. Other than that, his free kicks have been poor and his corners woeful.

The best player for the job should be taking the penalties - regardless of their position.

Pretty well summed up BO. Nice to meet the folk behind the scenes at EK as you say nice folk and excellent hospitality from them.

You gave us more than a real  game first half used the ball far more intelligently than we did & comfortable in possession & with the best chance only a good save from our keeper & Kyle clearing off the line preventing you being ahead. Second half we came into it a bit more without dominating indeed at one point end to end chances both ways, played also in a good spirit competitive but both sides giving honest effort.

I was a good game for the neutral and as you say a good advert for he Lowland league clearly your stadium has physical limitations easy to criticise but you have to work with what you have  I can however  see a good hard working club structure .Both Dale Carrick & Kris Renton not at their best Dale particularly uncharacteristically wasteful.

Enjoy Central Park but hope you understand from my point not too much I think it will not be a long wait until you are in SPPL  but if we can postpone that say 12 months I would be grateful

All the best

Just my opinion

I thought Lewis looked sharp & confident today whereas both strikers not of their best. Again only my opinion Mullen does deliver a decent dead ball.

You are entirely free to your own opinion.

We fell short of expectations today with a few as I've outlined not performing but regardless still in the game, & had the chance to nick it. We need to get 100% behind the boys next week. In terms of "hoofball" when we got back to a passing game  second half more effective & I know Gary & Billy have reiterated that to the boys. Nervous times for all at the club fans, board , management & of course players we need to all rally round a big task ahead but not beyond us.

EK manager likes a moan eh. Bit more dignified from Lockey. Really didn't think the officials got a whole lot wrong.

I thought the officials got the main shouts right - Strachan dived and was rightly booked while the number 2 handled the ball for our spot kick which I imagine will be clearly seen in the highlights.

Absolutely Alan 100 percent behind what you are saying and I will be behind them 100 and I expect to see the same commitment from the players.

I am just hurting tonight with the horrible thought of being 90 minutess away from being potentially out of senior football and what the repercussions could be!

Met a lot of great guys since supporting Cowden and want to see that support stay

The player's have the ability to do the business next Saturday

On today's linesman must be given credit for waving his flag for the pen

I suppose it was a bit of a flat atmosphere give there were probably 600 or so folk there, you could probably hear someone unwrap a sweetie paper but you can say that about a lot of grounds!

Could be down to folk on either side being too nervous about what's at stake.

Hopefully we do play better next week as mentioned we played better with the ball on the deck and hopefully the narrower pitch will be better for us. Still all to play for it was always going to be hard there today EK have only lost 2 home games this season against Cumbernauld and Spartans while winning the rest.

They have an experienced squad who are used to winning on their home park and quite a few of them have played in the SPFL and could still do so probably.

The Artificial Pitch probably didn't help much either and perhaps has helped EKs home record this season

At least we kept another clean sheet considering winter and Vitoria look very decent

I have to admit in real time I thought it was a Cowden handball for the penalty. Waiting for the highlights...

I honestly thought the same Wullie but the linesman was more in line with it and seemed certain.
