Caught out lying about another anti-racism charity.  Seems to be a bit of a pattern emerging.

And all the barefaced lying, bigotry and racism are being widely reported in the media.....oh wait...

Image of UK Government Cabinet meeting. Note the seating arrangement from Treseme up to Mundell.

And here's this week's version. Looks like Mundell was allowed to bring in his PA.

I know this is silly but who drinks water from the glasses and who drinks what in the mugs? It was also good to see that Priti Patel appears to have been shoved around the table  to let Colonel Davidson take notes. Why do some keep their jaickets on and have the curtains changed colour? Who is Teresa talking too-in the interests of transparency we should know.

Good call on the curtains. Was one of the days 17th March?

She was there on the 12th of June so I don't think they were late in  celebrating St Patricks day, but with Ruth's Irish romantic connections then maybe she does at the right time. No doubt there will be a special deal for Irish/EU Citizens to remain after Brexit. Just noticed that Mundell has his jaicket off in the June one so he was getting on with the day job.

Ruth Davidson in saying something sensible shocker!

Quote

Ruth Davidson has demanded Scotland benefits more from being part of the Union with a plea for more government jobs to be relocated north.

The Scottish Conservative leader said the UK "continues to be far too London-centric" with "enough civil servants to fill Wembley Stadium".

Pity she can't follow through the logic of this statement in the rest of her speech..............

Thus far, she has pulled off the trick that she's not really part of the nasties.

She is though and this "us against London" schtick will only wash with the hard of thinking.

I'll believe it when she actually pronounces the word "rape" in connection with child benefit claims.

What she really means of course is that she wants more intertwined Unionist ties to bind Scotland to the UK.

What she really should be demanding (as an MSP) is for more devolved powers to be transferred to the Scottish parliament....not simply a transfer of Westminster to the north.

It'll be a cold day in hell though before Buffalo Bob really sticks up for Scotland.

Presumably this is the new plan to try and undermine nationalist support - "look at the good Scottish Tory, taking on the bad guys at Westminster! There's no need for independence when we've got tough guys like Ruth to stick up for us!"

The fact that this will be a PR exercise planned and approved by the Tory hierarchy in London is neither here or there, naturally.

Fundilymundily Murphy did the exact same thing when he was in charge of the Labour North British Branch Office.

Twa cheeks.

Ironically I imagine Murphy would've been much more comfortable differentiating Scottish Labour from the UK party if he was heading them up right now under Corbyn's leadership.
