Absolutely. Our budget usually means that we are unable to offer good strikers a deal as they can earn more elsewhere. I think we pushed the boat out for Brophy. Let’s hope he propels us up the league and to cup glory as finances seem to be an issue according to the last AGM. Hopefully some graduates from the Academy can be good strikers. A classic Jim acquisition: knows the league and has performed well within it. Seems standard now to hear "I had a few options but I really liked what the manager had to say". Can't underestimate how important Goodie's people skills are in improving our team.
