Even one draw out of our two games should be enough to keep us in the Top6 for at least this period - there's gloomy and then there's gloomy.
Billy Jean King
Folk going on as if suddenly Dundee have morphed into Real Madrid. This is Dundee who bar schooling Livi have only won 3 league games all season !

Could we win 5 in a row? Even 11 points from 15 would be good - and a return to earlier season form.
djchapsticks
If we look at games in blocks of 5, the next 5 are season defining. Simply put, we must go to Livi and Dingwall, two grounds where we don't pick up a lot of wins and win them both. We also probably need to win against a much improved St. Johnstone and take something from a high on the crest of a wave Dundee. Easter Road is the wild card. We can do anything there from winning relatively comfortably all the way to taking a shoeing. 10 points from the next block of 5 should see us to 39 points and within proper touching distance of securing a top six place. No point in looking all around us at results, we have it in our own hands still

The likes of Livy and Ross County are always a couple of our toughest trips for a result, though I am confident we can take something from both or either. And as you say, our recent form vs Hibs has been a lottery, though mostly positive.
Mordecai
We've not lost away in the league to Livingston for almost 4 years and they're rooted to the bottom of the league. We should definitely be looking to pick up points away to them.

I've been watching St Mirren for too long not to look at stats like this and get nervous.
houston_bud
One of our problems this year as that we haven't drawn a lot of games. Only Livingston have lost more games in the league this season (Ross County and us both on 10 defeats). If we could turn some of those losses into draws in the second half of the season and get a similar amount of wins then we could end up finishing 4th.
AW saint
Goals are our problem. Some of our losses could have been at least a draw if we could bag a few goals. I am not convinced we have the goals in us.

I am not convinced we have the goals in us. What's weird is that in some games we don't create many chances while in others we create a reasonable number. One stat I remember was us having 26 crosses into the opposition penalty area. Jonah ought to get on a few from now on and Scott will be known as "Great Scott of the Saints"... as he bangs in a No. of crackers and assists we hope. The way we have set up this season has not suited O'Hara either and we miss his last season goals tally, which has evaporated this season.

Div
Absolutely with Chaps here, this is a season defining run of fixtures. It's hard to dress the current run up as anything other than stinking, the numbers are fairly damning; 2 league wins in 10 Only scored in 2 of those 10 fixtures 7pts from last 30 on offer 11pts from last 42 on offer You can however spin it a wee bit.......... Four of our last five league games have been against the teams sitting 1st through to 4th, and we won the game against a team below us. In the run of 14 games where we've only won 3 and drawn 2 we have played Rangers and Celtic 4 times Hibs and Dundee are going to be very tricky games. If we can even get 3pts from those two I'd be fairly happy before we then have a pop at Celtic in the cup and then the three games against, with all due respect, three teams we really need to be beating if we are in any way serious about being a top six side.
AW saint
Is there anyone seriously thinking Robbo may end up at Aberdeen
Kempes
5 minutes ago, AW saint said: Is there anyone seriously thinking Robbo may end up at Aberdeen I’d say they need someone who is experienced and who knows the Scottish game. I think they might go for Alex Neill or Neil Warnock rather than Robbo though.
Div
8 minutes ago, AW saint said: Is there anyone seriously thinking Robbo may end up at Aberdeen He's bound to be mentioned, especially with Burrows there, but the current run we are on, coupled with "Goodwin Factor" probably rules him out IMO. Even if we were still in good form I don't think the Aberdeen fans would appreciate Robboball much.
buddie06smfc
Robinson will think it. He and/or his agent will have his name all over the papers soon enough, just for a change. We’d be deluded not to think our manager at any time wouldn’t be tempted by the prospect of managing and improving Aberdeen. Just look at their squad. It will never come to that anyway, Aberdeen fans are permanently deluded and Robinson appointment wouldn’t appease the fans.

Victories get us 3 points, drawn games only get us 1 point. In reality, every draw is 2 points dropped or 1 point gained depending on the circumstances. Obviously a drawn match is preferable to a defeat, but it's still 2 potential points lost. Too many draws will get you relegated.

medals
Is this it? In Scott Kwon, Elvis, Brown Out Greive Small Nahmani Lennon Gilmarton Offord Ok those last 2 just relocated, but hopefully for further development and a better contribution to us financially. We've lost 5th and 6th choice strikers and a cover for LB that hardly got game time. 3 ins already contributing. And 2 guys on PCA's for the summer. It all looks positive so long as we improve on current form a fair bit. Then this season could bring a fair few celebrations.
