SandyCromarty
Reports today with the usual redtop speculation that Mulgrew is being courted by Livi, Partick and Dunfermline and that he is also considering the MLS.
Derry Alli
Fair play to Mulgrew if he manages to get a move to the MLS. He was getting the run around from 12 year old lassies at the Edinburgh Cup on Friday.

If we do sign someone it will be a loan from Hearts, Hibs or Aberdeen of some 17 year old. That's exactly my take too.
SandyCromarty
How about a Titus Morris signing? nothing would surprise me. He's great at standing on moving horses. Edited August 8, 2023 by SandyCromarty

CityDave94
20 hours ago, SandyCromarty said: This from the Courier in April; Reports have indicated that Caley Thistle could be set to earn anywhere between £1 million and £1.5 million, regardless of the result in the final on Saturday, June 3. The league has started and the club is struggling to fill positions with decent signings. I appreciate that the club needed to serve that financial loss of the year before but surely some of the Scottish Cup money should have been put to one side to replace players and/or sign decent new ones. With talk of a push for promotion it's clear the fans have been sold a dummy. No Morelos signing for Caley rumours yet?
Guest
I have been told a fair number of the players don’t like Dodds, with some wanting him gone. This is from a very good source. Apparently he also refused to manage the team in the final if he wasn’t given a new contract, I am unsure of the source on this one. He signed the new deal on either the day of the final or the day prior IIRC. This might not be news to some of the Dodds Out fans. PB1994
I had heard about some of the players not liking Dodds for various reasons. Hadn't heard anything about him refusing to manage in the cup final though. That does sound a bit ridiculous to be true but you never know. The contract was definitely signed before that game though.

If that’s true then it’s fucking wild, should’ve called his bluff imo Get Charles Mulgrew in, he got rid of 2 United Managers last season. Dodds would be out the door before the international break

Am I reading your post right? Dodds refused to manage the team on cup final day over his contract?? shocking if true and no more than holding the board to ransom, what a scurrilous little shit he is and it sounds as if the board were willing to get rid of him after that game until he blackmailed them. The majority of us want to see the back of him as proven by that survey on CTO and all the adverse posts on here. I have never known such negativity surrounding the team. Sadly I'm hearing that ST sales are down no doubt down to him

The cup final is pretty much the biggest day in Scottish football, regardless of how good, bad or indifferent Dodds is doing, he's going to want to be a part of that. Being one of the two managers involved is pretty much the highest profile role in that game. If this is true (Hahaha!) and the players don't like him as much as is being claimed, then it would have been quite an easy decision to put someone else in charge for the day and say he was ill or had other commitments (family, personal, etc.).
