But bear in mind that not that long ago we had no option but to stand on cinder terracing where we were so tightly packed in the big attending games we could barely raise our arms, and then we had twats at the back pishing in their empty beer cans and throwing it over the crowd. Happy Days? Sadly people died due to crushing and The Taylor Report recommended that seats be installed. So standing at your seat gives you some protection from a wave of fans falling forwards as they did in the old days when goals were scored and the rusty old barriers collapsed.
