Stop worrying lads, Yogi’s on Sportscene tonight and said we’ll be fine this season

When Yogi speaks, you listen

Not just that, but Kenny Miller says we’re doing quite well this season…

Missed that, the championship pundits are usually alright but can tell neither of them last night had any clue. I’m sure Yogi said we’ve recruited 1 or 2 in January, which isn’t far off from the 7 we did bring in

In all fairness we get the odd Friday night game. YouTube highlights and a SPFL roundup mid week not an awful lot of coverage so if you're not watching ICT on a regular basis youre not really going to know how well we're actually playing. You're just going to look at the table & assume that we're doing good or bad.

We had 1 point before Ferguson came in so pundits are just gonna look at the points we have now & assume Big Dunc is doing a stellar job when in fact its been up & down since he came in & fans are now stating to get fed up with his horse shoe tactics.

What a fucking shit show 👏 if the council stick with this U-turn there is gonna be legal actions taking place surely 🤦 this could go on for a while yet. Last thing the club needs is all this going on in the background.

Was a bold idea from the start but Gardiner & Co insisted on it & it looks it could very well backfire badly...

Not a good look on the council & it's not like they need any more scrutiny.

All in all its not just not fair on the fans our clubs future is literally in the hands of suits & pen pushers who don't care about us. All this uncertainty is not nice.

Reasons being noise pollution and loss of green space. I'm calling bullshit on that as most of that area formally used as a golfcourse will surely be used for future housing developments, its prime area for development. A battery farm there just would get in the way.

It's naive to suggest that that land will remain an untouched green space, when nearly every green space in the city has been reviewed to value whether or not to flog it off for more houses to be built, including the green spaces on the opposite side of the distributor road, which has been a souce of contention for the residents in the Drakies area of Inverness every time this gets brought up over proposals to develop the land that is supposed to be a buffer between the busy motorway and the houses. It will get brought up again and again until it gets passed. Every f**king piece of green land in and around Inverness is up for grabs and surely there those on the council who are obviously gaining massive financial benefits from those housing developments.

Why aren't Inverness CT able to operate as a business independently of Scot Gardiner's monorail scheme exactly?

Your club's future is in your own hands - you just don't want to run it off the back of your existing revenue base.

Name a club or fans that dont have higher ambition if additional cash generation opportunities arise?

That’s not his point though.

It’s not the councils fault we have been making massive losses every year, which the directors have been covering. If you want the club to have a future the first thing to do is to only spend the money we actually bring in and whatever level that leaves the club you have to deal with it. Then any extra income that can be brought in can be spent to help improve the club.

You can’t go threatening the council about stopping extra income coming into the club threatening the future of the club when it has been run like an utter shit show for years.

Not just the Highland council I'm crictising here Scott Gardiner is a charlatan as well. Our board have put us in this mess with stupid & selfish decisions over the years

Our board put all their eggs in one basket on this occasion and its backfiring on them.

Our clubs future is now in the hands of people who don't care both the board & now the Highland council. Ross Morrison maybe a fan but I doubt the likes of Scott Gardiner would care if we went bust or part time he would just move onto his next venture. Same with the directors pumping money into the club they just see it as an investment.

It's a massive shit show from both sides

These directors are obviously business men who know a bit about making money. I fail to understand how pumping money into a club losing shed loads of money is an investment.  They are covering the losses all the time, doesn’t sound like an investment to me, I’m out!

It’s absolutely not an investment. You have to be a complete lunatic to think putting money in a football club would see you end up with a profit.

I don’t think it is particularly fair to say they don’t care either. They clearly do care and are willing to lose hundreds of thousands of pounds a year to keep the club going. The main issue is that they don’t have a clue how to run a football club so decided to bring some one in to deal with it, which is actually very sensible, the problem being the man they employed to do that is Scot Gardiner.

They also seen to care more about headlines rather than results, hence the managerial appointment we made over someone currently managing in Inverclyde who clearly wanted the job, and is better at it.

You'd also assume he'd cost a fair bit less.

Not sure how much compo we’d have had to pay Morton?

It’s been rumoured on here that Fergusons wages are being covered by a director so I wonder if said director wanted him and would only contribute if they got their way.

Sponsoring a team is tax deductible but it is a Revenue minefield, if the monies are wholly utilised in the team all should be OK, but if it leaks over into marketing for the Investor or businesses advantage then the Revenue's tanks will appear on the horizon. It has been challenged where the Investor has classed it as a ' Business Expense'

At our level it gives some perks such as parking and hospitality other than that it is always a loss, but if you are a life long fan investing in your club would give satisfaction that you are part of the clubs history.

At our level
