St.Anthonys, some clubs are not awake to the situation..................SJFA furiously lobbying behind the scenes no doubt.

Club Statement – Pyramid

February 7, 2020

Whilst we appreciate clubs becoming increasingly vocal with regard to leaving the West Region of the SJFA,  We feel clubs should give the Association every chance to try and gain entry to the pyramid through the Juniors and while discussions are still ongoing with the SFA we as a club will back the West Region to the hilt.

Stay strong & support the Juniors

Are discussions still ongoing? Surely the WOS announcement wouldnt have been made if the juniors still had a chance of coming in.
PWG has been dissolved. TJ himself even stated this in his email last week yet stated opposite in one of the redtops a day or two later.

I very much doubt it, and if they are it's only between TAJ and Petrie, which doesn't get you very far.

I went to find the statement - noticed that their website and facebook says they are a "Scottish Non-League club from Glasgow" and doesn't mention Junior... 🙃

Another one from the West Region Management Committee. Coincidence?

Awaiting statements from Pollok and Ardrossan in that case.

What I meant was - another club that is saying give the Juniors another chance, they have someone on the WR Management Committee.

Yeah I get that, and why would you want these "mon ra Juniors" people running a Pyramid league.  Let them look after clubs who want to remain Junior.

Wouldn't be surprised if Oban Saints fancied applying to this new West of Scotland League.

A top amateur club, it would also provide the pyramid with its first team from Argyll and Bute.

Good to see that the Lowland League and George Fraser in particular have acted with the utmost dignity and maturity that hasn't befitted some of the other Blazers mentioned in this thread.

If the ants want to stay within the junior association then that's their business but all this nonsense that they and others are on about lets stick together aye right ! TJ is going to sort it out well wake up he's no ! Let's keep the West region strong is that the West region that still hasn't put any sort of public statement out concerning the racist speech from their general secretary were still waiting ! Is this the West region that docked

the buffs 19 points in an unprecedented decision that no other team since had any such punishment even though they have been similar offences from other clubs that decision relegated us and cost us thousands of pounds . So you talk about solidarity well those who wish to stay your welcome to your antiquated ways but dont drag the rest of us down with you if club's can't see the future fine. 🖐

Love that you’re making out Clydebank and Kilwinning are underhand and you’re committee are also making contact with the LL whilst putting out statements purporting to be junior loyalists. I know which of the two is underhand.
Fwiw I hope Talbot come along to the pyramid, but it wont stop others one way or another.

Have you any information that Talbot are in talks with the LL?
