Maybe that's the reason then, up to 30 spread about the ground. Thought that had been changed - ps step 7 is County League level downwards I think.  Looking at the Arsenal fans in a pub, looks as if it's all back to normal down south.

Played Brislington tonight (western prem). Had to be behind closed doors.

Didn’t think you were even allowed full group contact training yet, never mind friendlies???

Yeah down here in Bristol, friendlies galore so far, now mainly BCD  with fans being told not to turn up. Plenty of guidelines for them to put in place, guessing that it's worked ok so far, haven't heard anything negative.Time will tell ,not checked websites for fixtures or a start date yet.

...assets typically get divided amongst remaining members at that point, so the 10 or 13 that left may be missing out on a minor financial windfall.
The clubs who aren't renewing SJFA membership have been invited to the WRSJFA Special General Meeting. Until such time as the WRSJFA holds an AGM they are still members. This is not an AGM.

I'd be asking questions about who got the 12.6k honorarium and why? Looks like the remaining assets got cleaned out by the office holders before it could be split 63 ways by the clubs but maybe there's a reasonable explanation.
The financial report up to 31st April showed £12,100 in honoraria. Then the extra financial report for the 3 months from 1st May to 31st July showed a further £12,600 in honoraria. This was the period after the clubs had all agreed to move to the WoSFL.

That looks like the sort of financial shenanigans that would have Donald Trump blushing.
Imagine there could be a few lottery style winners when the SJFA is wound up 😂

It will be down to the timing of payments beings disrupted by the lockdown and sponsorship money coming in (£2,500 in April, £2000 in June 2020 and £1,000 from SJFA in July 2020).

The £12,100 was £9,500 in June 2019, £2000 in Feb 2020 and £600 in April 2020.

The £12,600 was £4,600 in May 2020, £4,000 in June 2020 and £4000 in July 2020.

I don't think there's anything amiss with the honorariums. It is for the previous year.

Legally almost certainly nothing amiss, but morally is it reasonable to be taking a payment after all the clubs had joined the WoS and the sport was suspended from all activity due to the pandemic? Beyond that you can certainly see how the office holders had a vested interest in maintaining the status quo as those payments are quite generous for the west region sort of level.

Baws. We missed out on three quid.
Knew we were making a mistake.
You didn't miss out on anything actually. The £162.48 is being paid back to the SJFA as part repayment of the £1000 grant the SJFA gave the West Region recently to pay some outstanding bills (as shown on the financial report).

So without the Ardagh Sponsorship the total income would be zero?

Yes, for the period 1st May 2020 to 31st July 2020. But that's not surprising as the Region effectively ended when all the clubs all moved to the WoSFL at the end of April.
