But you haven’t answered my question. Which Junior clubs were contacted and not all of them? Again if only certain junior clubs were contacted why were those clubs chosen? It’s not in our power to invite clubs to any meeting called by the governing bodies? All we have done is put the idea out there to get a feeling for support, or otherwise, ahead of the already arranged meeting on the 5th? It can then be discussed by the powers that be as an option. If they want to better themselves they have every right to go for this . Half the clubs mentioned I would argue are the pure definition of queue jumpers . They know they would never get to the top of their grade by the correct means ie promotion so let’s make a new league & jump 2 divisions or with some more than that to better ourselves . That can only happen if there's a concrete proposal, circulated to ALL clubs with a potential interest, allowed time to give it proper consideration, and a forum created where all interested parties can discuss the feasibility of the proposition. I`m going to take a wild guess here and suggest that whatever you`ve floated won`t even be on the agenda for any sort of discussion at the aforementioned meeting. A poorly delivered message that`s obviously laced with self-interest and ulterior motives. I can assure you I have no agenda. But when you cannot answer a simple question about which clubs were contacted and those that were not and the reason for that then is it any wonder clubs have questions. I am not involved at Arthurlie in any way other than being a fan but as a supporter and having previously been club secretary I am quite astonished how you have gone about this. To have only discussed this with certain clubs certainly makes it look like it will be a closed shop. I take your word it won’t be a closed shop but you must see why it look like it is. I have asked some questions about how this has come about, clubs that have been invited etc and have yet to receive proper answers to these basic questions. IMO all west region clubs should have been contacted. It would be up to these clubs and their members to decide what to do. IF they had then I think all of these issues that I raised would of been answered.
