In answer to your question, it’s not a closed shop.  The result of the meeting in the 5th will go a long way to determining which clubs will want to take part.

Happy New Year to you.

But the email doesn't invite clubs to any 5th January meeting, that's between representatives of the LL and the SJFA isn't it? And some leading West Junior clubs didn't even receive the email (although they will presumably by now have become aware of it by indirect means).

Furthermore, the email was only sent on the 21st December, few clubs will have had a committee meeting to even discuss the idea until this coming week at the earliest - is this going to be a re-run of the rushed "consultation" before the LL was formed?

Thank you for the best wishes and same to you. But you haven’t answered my question. Which Junior clubs were contacted and not all of them? Again if only certain junior clubs were contacted why were those clubs chosen?

Going by the article Kilwinning were one of the clubs contacted, why them and not others?

As I said before I fully believe all levels should be integrated but this seems a divide & conquer strategy from BSC.

Agree with all of this.

So Swifty made sure one was sent to his best bud Strain at Kilwinning , did he get an email mail off to Kilbirnie ?

It seems that whatever answer I give will be taken the way the recipient wants. Let’s see what happens in the coming month.

Jeezo, this is a new level of conspiracy, even for here!! The manager of the team has no input into this, but if it suits you to think he did then crack on.

It’s not in our power to invite clubs to any meeting  called by the governing bodies?

All we have done is put the idea out there to get a feeling for support, or otherwise, ahead of the already arranged meeting on the 5th? It can then be discussed by the powers that be as an option. However as TJ has apparently got his own plan it may not even make it off the drawing board.

Straight question: were Pollok (largest fanbase at this level in Glasgow) emailed? YES/NO. I ask as an interested club member.

Bit unfair and short sighted calling ambitious clubs queue jumpers. If they want to better themselves they have every right to go for this .

Half the clubs mentioned I would argue are the pure definition of queue jumpers .
They know they would never get to the top of their grade by the correct means ie promotion so let’s make a new league & jump 2 divisions or with some more than that to better ourselves . Absolute nonsense
Yes I’m in favour of a pyramid but this isn’t it
An absolute farce

Pollok did not receive the email.

At least one other Super Premier club had the email sent to a retired ex-committee member, so what emailing list the sender was working from is a mystery.

Exactly, so how can this 5th January meeting "go a long way to determining which clubs will want to take part"?

That can only happen if there's a concrete proposal, circulated to ALL clubs with a potential interest, allowed time to give it proper consideration, and a forum created where all interested parties can discuss the feasibility of the proposition.

This 5th Jan meeting ain't it!

Maybe if you answered the straight forward question and stopped evading it..........................."Which clubs were sent the email, and why not all"?

They have every right to be.  The way the whole thing has been conducted is shambolic.  From not contacting anyone to sending invitations to retired committee members.

Doesn't give you a lot of hope that any meaningful discussions will take place, or is that the underlying plan?

You have a manager that has played for Stranraer and Livingston played with top juniors Pollok , Medda and Linlithgow and managed a  West Super Premier team in Kilbirnie yet you never asked his opinion ? . Swifty is a bookie wonder what odds he would give for your proposal succeeding when you it's obvious the lack of homework is astounding.

The whole notion contained within your email/message will remain nothing more than that then. I`m going to  take a wild guess here and  suggest that whatever you`ve floated won`t even be on the agenda for any sort of discussion at the aforementioned meeting. A poorly delivered message that`s obviously laced with self-interest and ulterior motives. You can`t be surprised with how it`s been received.

This just keeps getting better. Is anyone working them from the back?

I can assure you I have no agenda. But when you cannot answer a simple question about which clubs were contacted and those that were not and the reason for that then is it any wonder clubs have questions. I am not involved at Arthurlie in any way other than being a fan but as a supporter and having previously been club secretary I am quite astonished how you have gone about this.

To have only discussed this with certain clubs certainly makes it look like it will be a closed shop. I take your word it won’t be a closed shop but you must see why it look like it is.

As I have said before I am for a fully functional pyramid but I can’t help be sceptical with how BSC have gone about their proposal.

I’m certainly not raging gogsy. I have asked some questions about how this has come about, clubs that have been invited etc and have yet to receive proper answers to these basic questions.

IMO all west region clubs should have been contacted. It would be up to these clubs and their members to decide what to do. IF they had then I think all of these issues that I raised would of been answered. If my club are part of it or not would be a members decision but to preclude clubs from discussions doesn’t foster a good work arrangement going forward.

Everyone appears to be losing their shit at BSC, yet I'd be more concerned that TJ and Co are going into a meeting with the SFA in 4 days time without having consulted member clubs (or even telling them).

That's the shambles in all of this, not a few clubs greeting at not getting an email.
