Two nil up and coasting but let Stranraer back into the game. McNiff would be man of the match never gave them a sniff and got a head or foot to everything that came his way. Osadolar had a very decent game too. Would like to see the foul for the penalty again. Currie was daft to pick the ball up for the passback for Stranraer's winner should have booted it up the field so that the ref didn't have a decision to make.

Great chance at two nil up when we broke away four on three but Goodwillie played the ball straight to a Stranraer player. Millar had a great chance to level in extra time but has shot was powder puff and cleared off the line.

Thought Burbidge looked decent when he came on.

That's one way to describe him...

At 2-0 we were absolutely cruising and by far the better team. One rash challenge from Breslin after the ball breaking in the box and you started the get the fear. One deflected shot/cross later and it's 2-2 out of nowhere.

The passback incident for the winner I'm not really certain if it was or wasn't. Purely basing on the reaction of every Clyde player even before it was scored would suggest it's a least debatable. However, Blair should've just thumped it away anyway and not taking the chance.

We very nearly won it ourselves in the 88th minute when Smart was through and done everything you would hope with his weaker foot but the keeper made a great save.

The double sub for Stranraer gave them more movement and they looked better after that but it was our need to take Goodwillie off that really hurt us. He was kicked from pillar to post with absolutely zero protection from the officials from the word go and it was clearly getting to him. This coupled with some constant, bizarre decisions going Stranraer's way you knew what was coming In ET.

We played well. McNiff was superb. Smart scored a stunner and gave absolutely everything.

Many positives to take from the match.

Enjoyable game thought we played well turning point penalty and the pass back was a definite free kick and no need for currie to pick it up
Thought we played well and terrific spirit throughout the team if we play like that in league we will do ok
Would still like a solid centre half going forward looked good terrific finish from osalador and thought burbridge was excellent worth a start , thought whole team did well just need to tighten defence

For anyone not at the game tonight, don't be too upset. We were very, very decent for large parts of this game. Huge improvement on Saturday, indeed for spells we were as good as a Clyde team has been for a long time. Far from league winners, but in comparison to last season so much better structured and organised.

McNiff MOM, no doubt, Stewart also looks very good. Flyn played left mid and was better than usual and perhaps worth trying again, funnily enough when he moved back central was back to normal, caught in possession etc. Smart's goal was an absolute peach.

As mentioned ref was abismal, honestly terrible, gave Goodwillie zero protection while he was clattered all over the place other than that did us no favours whatsoever, awful.

The pass back? I would like to see again, I thought it was a pass back but some guys round about me said the boy kneed it back, which might explain Currie and players reaction. Finally on Currie, I thought he was fine tonight, generally took all his crosses etc, he is far superior to Gibson all day long.

Loads of positives but as ever would not be a Clyde game if we were not going home very disappointed with a result.
