Edwardian version of the Nainggolan tattoo or Jamie Lawrence pineapple - I imagine he was a loose canon with a string of bawdy-house romps and improprieties behind him, reeking of woodbines, doused liberally in absinthe and probably a conscientious objector, too - bad sort all round... and no, not charlton...

HibeeJibee
It was only in 1909 that goalkeepers were permitted to wear different coloured shirts (until then they were distinguished by a cap or a bobble hat IIRC), but this chap doesn't appear to be sporting headgear. Possibly this team were just lax about socks. He doesn't look like referee. Recognise venue, isn't coming to mind.
killiejim
That stand only survived for 18 months before being condemned by the local council. It was replaced in 1905 by a classic Archibald Leitch stand which survives to the present day and is now a listed building. Admirers of Engineering Erchie will have no difficulty in recognising it.

Salvo Montalbano
and if no-one else is going to oblige... I suspect is Fulham. Some in colour: That bottom one looks like Wolves, with the multi-gabled roof and hotel at the top of the hill.

HibeeJibee
When I first glance at it I thought Pittodrie, taken from between what are now the Merkland and South stands. Obviously it's not, though. Bristol Rovers ground was beside a gasworks but don't suppose they have cooling towers.
