A bird asked me out yesterday and I just said no in the heat of the moment but I’m now regretting it, I’ve missed my chance today but should I slowly put out a few hints or just go straight in tomorrow and ask her out. Bird? Are you a young Frank McAvennie or Robin Askwith? Show the lady some respect. You've inadvertently done a great thing here. You've given yourself the chance to go to her and be humble, self deprecating. Tell her that you bottled it at the time but were mad at yourself when you got home etc.

19QOS19
The reason I missed my chance today was because she wasn’t in so I couldn’t do anything about it. This post makes me chuckle thinking about it. It was before we were told the OP is 14 so I assumed "...she wasn't in..." meant she wasn't at work. I now have a vision of the lad turning up at her door with an old mitre asking if she wants a game of kerby. Bless um

Fony Titz
Do folk really discuss P&B issues with their other halves? Only the really important ones.
NJ2
Mate, you’re 14. Chances are in 3/4 months you won’t give a f**k either way. Go and ask the lassy out if you like her, just say you bottled it but that you like her and would like to go out sometime. If she says nut then forget it and start trying to get in about some other lassy at school.
Popular Post Blootoon87
Hit her with the young patter. Ask her if she likes the PlayStation or if she's heard the new rapper music.
Jimmy85
Genuinely creepy that dozens of posters are giving a middle aged man tips on how to snare a 14 year old girl.

Cerberus
There are some posts that were deleted I think. I'm sure he posted to say that he got a date. He then went on a rant about being banned and there was some unpleasantness. It was a fitting end to a thoroughly gripping story.

I love a story with a 'happy ending'.
