Try google mapping it . If you don't get it on Formartine FC try Pitmedden............................then you will see how remote it is !!! theSilverFox
I've been told there's no car park at the ground and the ground is about a mile or so up an unlit country lane.
CALDERON
There is a car park but it's tiny. Most folk park at the side of the road next to the ground. But it is quite rural, yes.

That's why it's best to arrange a supporters bus.
peternapper
There is a hotel in the village but the ground is a bit out of town. If wanting a pint best to stop off there or even Ellon which is about a 10 min drive. Parking can be a bit chaotic if there is a crowd.

It is depending on weather & also road could be fairly busy with no pavements its on the verge, would think it s about a 15 minute walk from the Linsmohr Hotel. You can get a good idea of it on Google Maps from the hotel site you can get the satellite image which shows the hotel & ground which is on the Oldmeldrum road. dee_62
Yes. Dreading the journey but going. Went to the match there v Aberdeen U20s last season and it seemed to take forever - we went cross country (to avoid early evening traffic in Aberdeen) and there were roadworks everywhere in rural Aberdeenshire from Stonehaven upwards. Think I'll try through Aberdeen on Saturday but go up early and stop for lunch somewhere north of Aberdeen.
