Who's the dirty hippy looking East Fife player? From the highlights he looks quite technically gifted.

Not seen many goals from outside the box this season, apart from Shanks there I'm struggling to remember any. Think maybe Geggan had one at home and Forrest in the Cup.

Not sure about where you are getting dirty from, but the bearded guy is Mark Lamont. He was terrific yesterday, particularly before the break. He struggled with injuries at the start of the campaign, but when on his game can be a really difficult player to defend against...

Is his hair not greasy? Hence the dirty.

Schoolboy defending at those corners to have 11 players in the box and loose the man twice is criminal. The opposition having to do hee haw to score . Individual errors first one clearly being picked up by Kieran Miller gets sucked in defender left to charge into empty space. 2nd one pagey falls asleep and boy runs in behind him. You will struggle to win games of football at that level selling cheap goals like that.

Agreed. However, these are individual errors that can be addressed. We have intelligent players who will take on board mistakes made. You have to give credit to Ayr for the clinical way they took advantage of our switching off.  Every day is a school day. What I'd like to see is the same level of pressing, movement and tempo against Albion Rovers that we saw against Airdrieonians and Ayr United...

Well done EFTV great highlight package , 4-1 was very flattering for us , could have been all over by half time , tactical substitutions turned the game in Ayr’s favour , true result should have been 3-4 think we edged it in second half

Add in the two unchallenged headers at station park and there seems to be a pattern emerging here . Also the Raith game at home every time a cross came into the box it was a free header and a goal. You would think that the coaching staff would be seeing this the same as the fans and trying to iron out exactly where we are going wrong. Not taking away from Saturdays performance some of the best football I’ve seen at Bayview for a long time but defending crosses is a basic fundamental of the game.

We need to look at the positives and address our woeful defending at set pieces and I'm sure we will be just fine. Credit to Ayr, very clinical in front of goal and a sign of a good team who keep winning despite not being at their best. Big game for us against Albion next and 3 points would be most welcome.
