thistledo
Might regret this, but Asda in Slateford still had loads of the real stuff left on Sunday. Bought another load to add to the stockpile.

Yer drink is shite now I've limited myself to one can a day, with that I can get through most of the year. Hopefully enough time until they change their mind.

MONKMAN
My brother was in Tesco last week and they had 24 cans of original on offer. He dropped a case off at mine, which was sound of him.
Honest_Man#1
Finally tried a can of the new stuff. It’s probably not as bad as some are making out, but it’s definitely got the diet type sweetness and that almost foamy consistency that diet drinks seem to have. Wasn’t particularly enjoyable and did remind me of the horrendous “Iron Brew” shite you would get in supermarkets. Won’t be buying again unless they change back.

When out for lunch yesterday and was unsure what to order for a drink, without thinking I said irn bru. Look behold they had the old cans of irn bru. It felt good. Kinda wish I hadn't as I now crave more. Anyway Mr Barr get this back to the way it was please. Well no, some have said that it’s disgusting completely undrinkable, which is an exaggeration IMO. Not being as bad as made out doesn’t mean that it’s nice and that I’ll buy it though. It’s not, and I won’t.
MONKMAN
Was in a shop yesterday about to buy a bottle of Bru, quick scan of the label showed it was the new batch. Mission aborted.
Rugster
If you had all started drinking the diet years ago you'd have gotten used to it by now and there wouldn't be a problem. The diet is far better than the old normal stuff and no doubt the new stuff too. Philistines.

Barrs have fucked it here. Hope they go out of business.

KnightswoodBear
No. But I seem to have a mental block that no matter how many times I call it Lidl and my wife corrects me, I keep calling it that. So it might as well be one.
