What's the most "Tin Pot" thing you've seen in the SPFL

Yooz wur liquidated!

The typical cry of the whatabouter extraordinaire.

11.5 years ago but it's still all you e got.

You say 11.5 years ago as if it was on a par with an embarrassing cup result.

Rangers, and all the superiority it claimed to represent for decades, sending themselves bust and the way they did it will take more than 11.5 years to be erased.

And in any case, your current club has produced more than enough material since to point at, laugh at, and shake your head in disbelief at.

Who denies liquidation? Please point me to anyone, even among the rabid orangery, who denies Rangers were liquidated.

Good to know there is at least one of you acknowledging oldco Rangers died, and The Rangers is a newco club.

You'll be campaigning to separate Rangers 2012 from the previous incarnation's honours next.

If you think the club equals the company then you don't understand football or fans.

When Celtic were saved by Wee Fergus did they become a new club because their old company died?

Just interested in your opinion.

No, I'll leave that to the desperados with the inferiority complex.

Personally I'm not entirely sure what difference the history of a club makes to the current team. It's really only a fan thing and when you really think about it, it's not actually that important.

Step forward....Viaplay

Who never saw this coming when they were constantly selling their product at half its original cost !!!

BBC News - Viaplay: Broadcaster of Scotland games and Scottish League Cup pulls out of UK

It'll now be down to other companies picking up the rights as Viaplay are basically selling up.

Who is going to be interested in doing that?

Depends, DAZN after finally getting a channel might see the value in taking on the whole thing. Everyone else would presumably just wait it out until they can target the specific rights that interest them.

How curious then that Rangers themselves disagree with you. Maybe dead Rangers didn't understand football or fans? Check the top of their official match programme, where Rangers' legendary manager Scot Symon is clearly described as being the manager of the Rangers Football Club Ltd (company registration number SC004276, the entity that entered liquidation). To be clear, Symon is shown to be the manager of what you falsely refer to as a separate company, but not the football club. Note that the programme wasn't produced by Celtic-minded Rangers-haters, but by Rangers themselves. As we all know, the club and company were one entity, as confirmed on Rangers' incorporation document, where club and company were described as synonymous (the same thing).

As for your pathetically amateurish and embarrassing attempt to introduce whataboutery, no company associated with Celtic ever went into administration, far less liquidation, so you're deliberately trying to compare apples and oranges.  In any case, what happened to Celtic or any other club has no bearing on what happened to Rangers, unless you include Third Lanark, Airdrieonians and Gretna, clubs which were also companies when they were dissolved, and were constituted in precisely the same way as Rangers. The now defunct Rangers changed their name several times over the years, for example from Ltd to plc, but those changes didn't kill the old club. Liquidation did.

In the likes of Italy, when a club goes bust (happens every week) they just buy the rights back from the national FA and go again. Their supporters accept, though, that they did go bust, they're just on a 17th 2nd life, essentially.

But not for rangers, of course. They never died, they just merely ceased to live, like the brains of their supporters.

Well it was completely different. Fergus has stated he could have liquidated and started again, but it was too embarrassing so he paid off our debts.

My dad was technically dead for 10 seconds till they restarted his heart and he got better

does this mean he’s Italian?
