That sort of thing from United actually annoys me. Like the club is taking the piss out of its fans.

Don't say that, you can buy part of Livingston's pitch as well and the website suggests they're adding the rest of Scotland's teams soon. You'll be buying Pittodrie and you'll like it.

I'll stand for much but don't you dare ask Sean Dillon to debase himself like this

I could kind of understand it in Dundee’s position, where you could buy part of the pitch, or anything else for that matter, and actually receive it when the ground closes.  If you were replacing the pitch and the owners got their piece (no idea how you’d verify that) then it would be a bit cringy but fine.  To roll that out purely to try to make a relatively small amount of cash seems a bit bizarre.

Also, just to be pedantic, if you’re paying money for a year for the piece of pitch and have to renew it next year, you don’t own it,  you’re renting.

It's the brainchild of Ian and Alan Adie who trademarked the term "Tartan Army" back in 1997

According to the mocked up screenshot at https://www.sportli.org/how-it-works/ they're hoping to get the big 12 teams onboard

Hibernian, Scotland, Heart of Midlothian, Rangers,Celtic, Aberdeen, Airdrieonians, Alloa Athletic,Annan Athletic, Arbroath, Ayr United &  Bonnyrigg Rose

If you go when some of them  are laying astro, you'll get bits of the real stuff for nothing.

This sounds like those websites that you can buy a star or a plot of land so you can become a "Lord" or "Lady".

Think they missed a real trick by not using buzzwords and technology like NFT and blockchain.

"Charles III"

Funnily enough, the c*** is the first monarch named Charles to reign over Scotland. There's been just the one.

Surely they've used the English "the third" by accident seeing as they're a Scottish club, right?.... Oh

I've half an idea about the timing of a *19th September* tweet praising the parasite benefit scroungers, but I'll put that down to coincidence.

Nope.  Union of the Crowns in 1603, Chuckles the first and second reigned after that.

You may well be right about the timing of the tweet mind.

Charlie I (the guy who had his head cut off) was actually a Fifer being born in Dunfermline Palace.

As much as I'd love to stick the boot in, the convention now is to use the higher number in any case, so a future King James will be James XIII and not James III.

A Fifer? Further proof that Royals are inbred then.
