What's the most "Tin Pot" thing you've seen in the SPFL

Recommended Posts

Like most supporters of Scottish fitba I could quite happily go into any pub near a ground in Scotland and talk to opposition fans without a hint of trouble apart from the bigot brothers.

Their joint and long history of drunkenness, fighting, sectarian chanting, praising terrorists at home and abroad is despicable. The inadequacy of policing and stewarding to these large mobs compared to how other fans are treated is disgusting.

The SFA and the league authorities turn a blind eye to the criminality of their fans behaviour up and down the country.

Both clubs do very little to deal with the sectarian issues and even pander to them with their PA systems.

The main reason that most of their fans support either club is because of a religious divide. Either that or their lives are so inadequate that they need to support a team that more often than not wins something that they can brag about.

I don’t give a fcuk about religion. If someone wants to believe in an afterlife that’s up to them. It has nothing to do with football.

Most of these muppets are never ever near a house of worship. Especially as most away games are on a Sunday.

All of Scottish fitba despises the bigots. No one wants them in their towns and stadiums.

It’s not just about you and it’s not just about football

Kinda ironic you’d mention whataboutery here

No it's about Celtic and Sevco's sectarian problem and typical whataboutery from one arse cheek fan to avoid taking some responsibility of their club's religious bigotry towards the other arse cheek's club and fans. Both of you are as bad as each other but you'll always deflect with blaming the other as worse and yourself a victim, just deal with your own club's problem for a change.

Start a thread on Religious Faith in GN.
I predict 2 pages before it is locked and deleted because of the postings of an OF poster.
Would that be 2 pages of clown job exclusively talking about anti-catholic bigotry?

Ironically blaming football is society way to avoiding responsibility

We are obviously never going to agree here so let’s not waste each other’s time

You have your own small minded view on the problem and are unwilling to change it.

Sweep sweep, deflect deflect, take your head out the sand mate and admit Celtic and Sevco are the biggest offenders in Scotland and both thrive on sectarianism.

The only small minded view on here is yours, refusing to own it as a massive problem within your club. And pathetically trying to deflect it onto Scotland as a whole. You both have the biggest supports in Scotland and thrive on sectarianism, go connect the dots.

Since the distinction was between the sectarianism of Rangers and Celtic supporters, versus the rest of Scotland ("Scotland as a whole"), can you clue us in as to what percentage of these marchers happen to support Rangers? I'll take a guess that the Celtic support among them is close to 0%. Given the geographical spread of OF support, the fact that particular Orange Lodge is Edinburgh-based is no help.

No idea about percentages but I don’t think it would be hard to guess you’ll have some Hearts fans amongst them

Edit: From the above lodge since it’s based in Edinburgh

Disagree?

Disagree?

How does this prove that Celtic doesn't have an issue with sectarianism?

How does this disprove people's lived experiences that it's rare to encounter sectarianism outside a football context and outwith greater Glasgow?

Some Jambos being twatty doesn't reduce Celtic's twat score.

Never said it does

My argument is it’s a wider problem in Scottish society and not just confined to just the 2 clubs

“Twatty behaviour”

Edit: Btw I’m not just having a go at Hearts fans here

Hearts just happened to have apologised for playing the sash over its tannoy last season and Ross Country had to apologise for the behaviour of some of its fans using anti catholic language

Only Sevco fans are sectarian.

Move along now.
