What's the most "Tin Pot" thing you've seen in the SPFL

Apparently this is a real brand and not a piss-take.

Looks like all these guys have done is found a company that specialises in cheap corporate swag, and put their company name on them. There's nothing Rangers-centric about the products on sale that couldn't be filled in from an 'insert your company name here' template; juts the odd glimpse of Rangers scarf or other Union Jackery on the promo shots.

Not strictly SPFL but the lineup has a lot of Premiership based players.

But the SUBWAY Socceroos? Come on!

They probably get paid more for that than any sponsorship deal either our national team or leagues have.

No figures provided but a record-breaking deal apparently.

One the one hand, its very funny.

On the other, its good branding/marketing that will instantly attract a significant clientele who they'll be able to fleece a fortune from for what is basically white and black tshirts.

Oh it’s very clever mate. Some of it’s sold out already.

Its cheap and affordable to all with a huge target market in central Scotland.

Well done to the company.

Former players/managers jumping on social media to defend themselves. Tremendous stuff.

Players parents jumping on socials is also good craic. I remember ex-Airdrie player Chris O’Neil’s mum infiltrating an Airdrie fans facebook group to leak details of his contract in an attempt to cause outrage over his low wage. Think it ended with most fans saying “to be fair he’s pish anyway…”.

The Lee Rigby Foundation was another strange tale in the grand scheme of ex military charities.

A Captain Tom story in reverse.

Lee Rigby's parents were offered a free of charge mansion to live and set up a charity office plus use as a home/retreat for ex military. Believe tradesmen from around the UK did a massive amount of work on the mansion free of charge.

Then the owner (ex wrestler) went into debt so it's time to phone the homeless unit.

Guess things are pretty bad if they're reduced to begging off folks with big drums in Larkhall.

I googled her so you don’t need to

she’s got a YouTube channel where she sings songs about Rangers to a moderately competent standard

I wouldn’t recommend it.

songs about Rangers?

So in theory she could be a Celtic supporter.

She may have two stage names and play gigs in Coatbridge as Theresa O’Semtex

it sounds unlikely but BBC Scotland have commissioned worse sitcom ideas

Certainly worked over the years for the cheap and nasty memorabilia merchants outside Glasgow football stadiums.
