I think the fact that the BBC omitted the majority of Salmond's defence from their headline documentary of the trial showed their colours on that matter. In a perfect world the Tories would be held accountable for their sleaze but milking the public purse is Dog Bites Man. So, having shown that your first two examples are incorrect, do you want to try again? I can't believe that someone who rode the political tides as skillfully as Freeman eventually oversaw the Covid Care Home Massacre and hospitals turning into infection factories. The quizmaster said, " Kirkcudbright, Scotland" If the answer had been, for example, 'Tunbridge Wells' he would not have said "Tunbridge Wells, England". The practice is not restricted to quiz shows, of course, the news bulletins are the most common offenders.
