Blitzed the fall in the last week or so. First season was okay, then after that it got boring. Would have sacked it after the second season but with only 6 episodes left, I finished it to see what happened at the end.
Special mention to when the police at the hospital allow a serial killer, to just wander about with no escort or guard. Also when he’s getting interviewed by Gillian Anderson, no handcuffs or guards.

Wouldn’t watch again and wouldn’t recommend.
I am on seasons 3 and I have enjoyed watching it, but like you, the ICU scenes in 3 blew my mind. There was so many things happened where I was just sat there going "theres no fucking way that would be allowed to happen" and what makes it worse is Stellas focus on procedure and protocol being spot on as a key necessity. Its lazy tbh.

And also although the first two were enjoyable, I just felt it lacked something. It was going for that cat and mouse cop and killer thing, but to me, there was no real thread of Stella figuring it all out, piecing it together. He just sort of, handed it to them.

I was the exact same, at least once an episode I’d point out some ridiculous form of policing that just wouldn’t happen.
Also, instead of making up that he was having a random affair he decides to tell his wife he’s a paedo, which results in them having a quickie in the barn. Think that was the final straw in the believable stakes for Monkwoman, she sacked it off. I grudgingly powered through and finished it. I’d imagine I’ll have completely forgotten about it in a few weeks.

I will finish it this week, and my life will be no less rich for having watched several more hours of Gillian Anderson, but aye, it's not any better than a worthy time passer.

Gillian Anderson is the only plus point of the entire thing, she’s delightful.

Watched all of the first season of Cobra Kai last night. Loved The Karate Kid as a youngster and it pays homage to that throughout but with that Stranger Things-esque general 80’s nostalgia added in.

Quite playful in the way it backs the freaks and nerds against the mean rich kids but also roots for the very unreconstructed Johnny who believes there’s nothing that can’t be resolved with a good slap.

Was a bit wary of it, thinking it could spoil the memory of the original film but it’s really sweet and funny.

I’m half way through the second series. Like you, love pd the film as a kid. Enjoying this as well but, in all honesty, it’s a bit shit and unbelievable isn’t it? I mean, surely no one in the world could choose to drink Coors on a regular basis.

Sorry for slight spoiler but he does get pulled up on that in one of the last episodes! Also, slight spoiler, there’s a long fight scene in the last episode and it made me wince and oooh a few times. It’s nonsense but really well done. Heavy on the produce placement too. After each episode I find myself wanting to go to the Nike store for some new running gear.

I'm Thinking Of Ending Things is one of the weirdest films I've ever seen, total bonkers. Some good performances though.
Does it get going? We've watched it up until they get to the house. Struggling all the way up until that point but turned it off for another day. I will go back to it as I'm hoping the normally excellent Toni Collette pulls it up.

Not really. It's a certain point after they leave the house that they lost me and you can't take it seriously after that. It just lost it's mind completely at this part..You'll know what I mean if you finish it.

So finally chosen something for Netflix.

Sons of Anarchy you have been chosen

I thought it was a really good show, the 3rd season (the irish one) is a bit slow but the rest are really really good.

I am 5/6 episodes in and enjoying it. Its great bringing the story back to let you see what had happened to Jonny and Danny since the films ended

BUT

I am wondering how they have made more than 1 series of it.. guess i will find out

Kobra Kai finished, and i am delighted they made a season 2, plenty more nostalgia but an interesting storyline through it too.

the last episode was something special, intrigued to see season 3 now, gutted it won't be until next year.

Aye it's bizarre. I had a theory about what was going on, but I was totally wrong (I think)
I thought I had an idea until I listened to a review of it which made me realise it's even more depressing, even by Kaufman's standards.

Started watching the sci-fi series Away about a mission to Mars with a multi-national crew of 5 led by Hilary Swank. Three episodes in and it's playing out more like a soap opera with very little space stuff and it's all too convenient that they can just phone anyone on Earth at anytime with no hitches whatsoever. Will probably continue but hoping for more space action.
