pipedreamer
Good competitive game, fortunate to come out with a win with the first goal being a mistake from Kelty and the second a dubious goal given by the linesman from a fair distance away. Beattie can read a game, the legs aren’t what they used to be though. Loves to buy a foul I would expect Kelty to have highlights out maybe today or tomorrow. Elgin were filming also but not sure if they put highlights out.

Jaggy Snake
It's surely to be expected that Craig Beattie would get injured? 34 years old, plagued by injuries his whole career and only made 7 league appearances for Edinburgh last season. ECFC6
Just read this article. https://www.northern-scot.co.uk/Sport/Football/Forres-sign-winger-Macrae-06072018.htm Having seen this lad come through ICT youth for the last 2 years this is a massive miss for us. He was the best player on the park against Clach and all the noises around the place at full time sounded very positive. So what happened, did he just not fancy us? The fact that Craig says Andrew contacted the Mechanics after the Clach game (rather than the other way around) would suggest that's the case , Did we make him an offer that he didn't fancy or was it something else? I know he played 90 mins in a game for Forres the night before he appeared in the Clach v ECFC, maybe he just felt more comfortable in that side. Incidentally having played 180 mins of football in 24 hours, he still looked fitter and sharper than most of the other player on the park and was still making runs and beating players up to the final whistle. A real shame and a big miss for ECFC. Ideas?
Thom & Gerry
Didn’t fancy travelling and was comfortable where he was. Lack of ambition/desire to go higher?
ECFC6
What didn't fancy the extra 12 miles? Surely not?
afca32
More like a trip down the A9 every fortnight and training in Laurencekirk once a week. Still disappointing.
Thom & Gerry
Not to mention Annan and Berwick midweek. Leaving at lunch time and back for 4am.
WeAreElgin
We have signed David Banjo and Kerr Hay. Not seen much of Hay but Banjo should be a good addition.

Am Muilleach
Stephen Bronsky confirmed to have a broken ankle after Saturday's game. All going well so far - three fairly long-term injuries, already.
