The Ultimate Super Ayr Thread

The Roberts biographer posted shite like this about people who were irrationally, maliciously against Roberts for the purported, specious "crime" of "not being very good at managing the football team", and continuing to spread scurrilous rumours that if Ayr continued to "lose" games then they might be "relegated" to the "bottom tier".

Bitter, horrible individuals. Certainly not fans of the team. Frankly they were almost certainly Kilmarnock posters in disguise.

In this case though it's not "shite", thankfully I've most of them on filter / ignore so don't need to read any of their crap anymore.

An energetic wide player with experience both inside and outside of the agricultural british lower leagues, who's good on the ball and doesn't shirk out of a tackle? Aye, 'mon then.

Any interviews on today's game from us. See TNS have already interviewed two of their staff on TNS TV re the game. They seem a very professional and well run outfit.  Also had an interview with Declan McManus who cost them £60,000 (.and probably cost us Todarov. They made over £1,000,000 from their European campaign last year.

Mark Kerr had Kyle Mitchell and Sam Alderson on trial not long after he got the job. Both were ex Ytterhogdals players but Mitchell ended up at Gretna and Alderson signed for Hungerford so not sure what the standard is like.

Well I mean this is the north west counties league, which in the ninth tier of English football. You would hope not to be fishing it for regular first team starts, but at this point Ayr are very much beggars. Which again raises the question of where this alleged first team budget is going and what in the absolute f**k the manager was doing on a summer holiday during the break, during a global pandemic.

The Cymru Premier isn't La Liga but it's the top tier of Welsh football. They're in Europe pretty much every single season.

It shouldn't be long until the next season ticket update is provided but we can surely ask any of the blue and white unwashed about the strength of teams in the Welsh Premier League.

They'll know.
