I’m aware that was never going to happen. I’m exaggerating (badly) to make the point that it’s very naive of the club to have no say in merchandise that has the club badge on it.

They are only selling it on Michaels behalf , that’s the reason it’s pre book only and will not be available on general sale ,it’s the strip he designed and everything on it is personal to him , wife and kids names , 2 teams he loves , yes it’s split the opinions of fans , but to me it’s what he wants and that’s really is all that matters , people can chose to buy or not no big deal here

^Big team found.

Could say the exact same about anyone getting worked up about a strip that has been designed by a Celtic fan, for a Celtic fans testimonial match that also happens to be against Celtic.

Hit a nerve?

In all seriousness, who even buys these? I'd never want to purchase a testimonial shirt. I can understand it for Moffat himself and fair play but not for me, thanks.

Another non issue being blown up into something by fans.

I’m usually on that side, but you can’t expect an Ayr kit with a bit of Old Firm fusion thrown in to pass without comment. Even if it isn’t “official”.

When Shankland's testimonial comes up and it is Rangers inspired I will be sure to exhibit the same outrage.

Nice strip and get the design, Celtic bit etc.

Just don’t try and sell it to fans, it’s a shame but fans are tribal and loyal, and it’s just not going to wash with 2 teams from the same country.

It is a nice top though (apart from the green bit) - good design Moff 👍🏻

It’s a rotten shirt even forgetting the cross on the back.

Oh I expected comment. I’m still maintaining it’s a bit ridiculous.

Good. I did wonder whether you’d be part of the flute band that day but I’m glad you’ve cleared that up.

So, if we get pumped tomorrow night, anyone think the manager will walk/be pushed shortly after. Of course I hope we don’t as I’m going.

If it's 1-0 or something, unlikely. If it is another shoeing then perhaps...

Absolutely to both - who gives a f**k.

People are acting like it has a Celtic badge on it, a quite mental over reaction.

It is Moffat’s top, not the clubs.

Club pulling out all the stops to deflect from the shite team and the sniffer dugs eh?

Just imagining Mathie on the phone to Moff...

"Do us a favour pal, stick a wee Celtic symbol somewhere on that strip you're designing for your testimonial, just to get the serfs so raging that the heat will be aff me for a bit, cheers!"
