Fact Bangala is still here is crazy. What exactly are they going to do with him next season. Expected more outgoings by this point but doesn't seem like we're getting many

Don’t think they would release or move on players until they arrive back to train g on Monday

Left back is a priority for me.

I can't bear to watch another season of Reading being turned inside out by every right winger in the league.

I think we’ll be lining up with one of our full backs from last season still starting, which would be worrying mismanagement.

one of the things i'm happy with right now is we do for the most parts have depth in positions and not having to rely on youth players to fill the bench, is the depth of good enough quality you can question for sure but i would rather have depth then none at all

Two strikers of any sort of reliability, one of whom is probably leaving. No fullbacks good enough at this level. Goalkeeping cover is back to being an academy player. Where precisely is the strength in depth? headless chicken wingers?

Mutch backup for Albinson.

Seems Dipo has taking Ayr United out his twitter bio as well as changing his profile picture and cover photo. It was obvious he was going to be away but it would be a shame if it ended on a sour note.

Yeah it's a shame but if he wants to leave then so be it. No point in keeping someone who doesn't want to be here anymore.

He probably didn't expect to be making the long journey north again for pre season training

Hope it’s a quick process; but clubs lowballing after offering 250k in January can gtf

How is it lowballing, out of interest? Before January he scored 15 goals in 19 league games. In 2023 he scored 5 goals in 17 league games. January always has inflated prices, and he also now only has a year left on his contract.

If clubs thought he was worth 250k in January then they'll think he's worth a lot less now. Obviously anyone is worth what clubs are willing to pay, so someone may stump up more if they really need him and good luck to Ayr trying to get that. But by all objective measures his value has dropped since January.

This ☝🏻, added to the fact he can sign a pre contract in 6 months anyway and got himself played into being sent off in the play offs. If we get £200k then I’d take that in a heart beat.

Thanks for the memories and we move on.
