The Ultimate Super Ayr Thread

Recommended Posts

The club seems to leak information at times and end up looking so slow when they officially announce things. Wonder if the media director that was advertised nearly 5 months ago has started yet so they can put a positive spin on this Pendlebury news.

Was told he’s asked to leave. Don’t think he’s the “right type of character” Bullen always seems to plug at in his interviews.

Wonder if he's who Bullen was referring to in the interview after losing at Cappielow when he mentioned something along the lines of certain players having their eyes opened

He did help us lose a goal by being a bit of a shitebag so I would imagine so…

More to the point he'd just signed a two year deal so are we having to spunk money at him to get him away?

If so he'll be laughing all the way back down the M6.

Also if Bullen can't work with certain players he needs cannoned into the sea, it's the job as the manager/head coach to get the best out of every player in the squad, you're never going to have a squad of 20 "yes sir" vanilla players who don't cause issues, the answer to any tricky situation isn't to just punt them.

If that's the case it's a bit of an indictment of our recruitment as we're supposed to have someone onboard who sifts all that out before we sign them.

If he's asked to go no way they are paying out money to him.

Of course we aren’t if he wants to leave.

For all Bullen’s faults, I don’t think that’s something that’s remotely fair to say about him tbh.

It’s also a laughable thing to level at Bullen when Ian McCall has God status around here.

Yeah Bullen's main (only?) strength is his man management.  He managed to keep a key player performing last season despite them having no interest in playing any more games for us.

Particularly when Bullen was clearly  happy for Aiden McGeady to sign and be part of the overarching structure of the club - not exactly someone known as a yes man!
