The Ultimate Super Ayr Thread

For all the flack Mathie has begun to take in the last couple of weeks over the state of things he has probably recovered a bit of reputation for having balls to come out and do this as it could have been 100x times easier to do some copy and paste statement.

There has clearly been a meeting hastefully arranged after the Falkirk game the other night to decide what to do about the toxicity.

Balls for doing a Q&A, where he vets and selects the questions? Really? That's less Ballsy than Bullen facing Calum each week. Although Calum has been getting more critical (kudos for that!).

A ballsy option would be taking questions after the match a week on Friday.

Oh aye cause an open Q&A in the hub immediately after getting pumped by Partick Thistle is really a wise idea! If you want the hub smashed up and 10 stewards escorting Mathie out the back door over the fence

Folk at the club reading on here is a 100% fact.

It’ll be the same at every club tbf. It’s a massive forum in terms of Scottish football so you can’t really avoid it if you’re in the game.

You have failed to understand humour. Maybe I'll add a smiley face next time not to offend you. 😉

If you are a Premiership club with any sort of chance of qualifying for Europe then this isn’t good but for us who will never be affected by the coefficient it’s absolutely hilarious and I relish midweeks in August every year. Just a shame it wasn’t 54-5.

Top flight is so bad it’s taken Ayr over 35 years (and counting) even to reach it.

Plenty of us have said communication from the club has been poor for a while so the Q&A might at least addresses some of the off field issues and maybe offer some clarity.

Would imagine Mathie will be smart enough to avoid any questions around Bullen’s future or particular players and try to avoid heavily criticising any suppliers or volunteers which is fair enough. Hopefully after watching it we don't end up more depressed than we currently are.

Yeah that's my fear. The controversial topics will be avoided.

I started my question as a happy clapper and tried a comical one as well. 🤞

"This is a statement not a question..."

"Graeme, you are clearly a titan of the football industry and we're lucky to have you... yours sincerely, your biggest fan WATTOO"

I mean he can't exactly come out on a video and say Bullen needs to get a win from his next two games or he's gone, there's certain things which should be kept out of the public domain.

He'll basically just acknowledge that performances haven't been good enough and our current league status isn't where we expect to be.

Ok, fair do's for organising a Q&A session first of all, but I hope its not going to be hand picked questions that are answered with scripts and buzzwords. It needs to be as honest and genuine as possible.
