Need to ensure this man gets a cracking reception…

Watching the Hibs Semi-Final with my Papa is one of my favourite memories of us watching Ayr United together. The sheer unadulterated joy as Eddie's penalty hit the net will live with me forever.

Thank you Eddie Annand.

It’s the usual from football supporters everywhere. You’ll get the same folk who shoot down any new top when it’s actually pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Surely the fans opinion is relevant in that they won't buy the kit if they don't like the design? It's not as if we have the luxury of putting Beckham or Messi on the back to get revenue for the club, so an appealing design should be paramount.

Watching him and Glynn Hurst as a front 2 was a joy.

Did he play with Hurst. I'm sure Hurst was away by time him and grady arrived.  A front 2 of Annan and grady in the 1st division when they could have played with most teams in Scotland shows how much money we were throwing at the team back then .

Great players.

Imagine what might have been achieved if we had a competent manager and if those nonsense top flight stadium rules didn't make it impossible for us to be promoted.

Least my names on the release video. I can now cancel my payments.

Best part about it is that UtdAyr twitter account being outed as a pervert in the replies.

If the club had any patter they'd send him Bill McWilliam in the full kit so they can see the shorts.

Don’t know if he played with Hurst. Signed at the same time as Grady, which was a huge symbol of intent at the time. Kinda like Ayr sweeping in for Boyle and Youan or some other mid table premier league strikers.

Those two were very good for  a decent Dundee side.

He was some player. Hope he gets well soon.
