A telling off might have done it tbh no need to throw him out .might have came back next week and bought a season ticket . Wasnt there obviously but the SPFL are having a crackdown across grounds on people providing live in play info to betting websites without paying a licence fee. Only one company (Genius Sports) has a licence to do that. Anyone else is doing it illegally and will be removed.

Wonder if this is why some bookies aren't offering in play betting on a lot of Scottish games so far this season when they normally would.
pandarilla
Took my wee boy to his first game today, with a strip bought from the shop beforehand. Played pretty shite (especially first half) but couldn't ask for a better first game. He watched it more than I expected and loved the experience. I'm just grateful to the big goalie for saving our blushes. Falkirk absolutely deserved a draw.

ayrunitedfw
Someone has already posted this on Facebook so most of use will probably be aware but if after ordering the ticket online you don’t receive a PDF in email then log on to https://tickets.ayrunitedfc.co.uk/ hit the three wee horizontal lines and log in (I had to click forgot password and reset it) then click my packages and the game should be there, tick the box and clicked the eyes and the Qcode should be there.
Trogdor
My personal experience of the ticket system was positive. 3 of us had bought tickets in advance. My granddad (in his 70s) bought a ticket online and already had his season ticket card. He turned up with his season ticket and just in case a print out of his ticket (after asking the club what to do). My brother bought his ticket online and printed it off. I bought one online and had it on my phone. I haven't picked up my season ticket card yet and guessed the shop would be mobbed. All three of us got through first time and it took no longer than pay at the gate. It was probably faster in truth. That said a guy in front of us who bought his season ticket in the morning couldn't seem to get through. There were always going to be teething issues with the new system. It was never going to be seemless and was less of a rip roaring @rse than Livi managed on Tuesday. Who didn't even have the good grace to delay the kick off. I prefer the new system as I had a habbit of forgetting my season book and had to pay in. Now I can get it on my phone. I rarely forget my phone! There are many things to bash the club for but moving into the 21st century isn't one of them imo. Edited July 21, 2019 by Trogdor

railwayend
In last season's Betfred Cup the four best runners up qualified with 9 points and goal differences ranging from +3 to +7 . So its quite simple any kind of wing gets us through . Getting out the group and into the last 16 gets the club between £30k and £40K in prize money plus £20K if televised and a share of any gate money . That is your new centre forward right there .. Get out of the last 16 and the same rules apply . Stranraer are no mugs and will be up for it ,but we couldn't wish for a better situation to be in . Lets see if McCall can figure out what our best team is and deploy the players in positions that suit them the best . I'd be inclined to go with McCowan and McGuffie on the flanks with Moffat and Doolan up top .That would mean Kelly in the centre midfield with either Kerr or Murdoch .The centre backs pick their selves at the moment as does the full backs . Looking forward to it already ....

There are many things to bash the club for but moving into the 21st century isn't one of them imo.Fair enough that you and your family had a positive experience - but literally hundreds of our fans are going to be put out by this (some in quite a major way). Many will simply not turn up. Has there been a reason given why we couldn't have introduced this whilst also keeping a couple of cash gates? It seems like what Falkirk have done, according to their fans.

I'm 38 and can work the basics of online shopping - but is this not a really complex system? Why would you not receive the email? Is that something that can get ironed out as it does seem like a pretty massive flaw? There also seems to be too many steps here considering this was making paying for a ticket simpler.

Out of just over 600 pre paid tickets less than 30 had an issue with pdfs not arriving with purchaser ,some of this was down to purchasers email rejecting the attachment , I work that out at approx 95% of pre bought tickets were successful , it literally takes less than 3 minutes to order ticket have it sent to your email , screenshot it and add to photos , thus when arriving at gate , the photo can be scanned for entry , some people are making it sound much more difficult , be assured lots of learnings were learned yesterday by all , club were at fault along with fans not pre buying tickets , don’t see why most fans are laying blame totally with club , my feelings are if a cash gate was left open most fans would have just queued there , when Ayr are trying to educate them to buy in advance where possible , the target I believe for pre bought tickets is around 70/80% which should be more than achievable, but unfortunately yesterday it was around 30%,some fans learned early as at full time yesterday a number of fans went to shop and purchased tickets for next week Edited July 21, 2019 by Robbo63
Trogdor
I'm looking forward to talking about the football rather than the ticket system! Come the 3rd August, the system will be running like a sweetie and everyone will knows what to expect.

Superhursty7
I get some folk don't like it or are having issues I wasn't at the game yesterday so don't know how much hassle it was and granted when I booked my tickets for the Stranraer game it took me a bit of time to figure it out but I really think it's a great idea for people like myself at the start of the month I can check see what games I can go to as I work some weekends book my tickets there and then no worrying about keeping money by. As some one said in a few weeks no one will be talking about this it will become the norm
D'Jaffo
Interesting that McCall said we were after 2 players that went to Falkirk in the summer. I would imagine Doyle might’ve been one of them. Wonder if McCall has a particular guy in mind from down south or if he’ll wait and see if he’s offered anyone after the League Cup.
