What a delightful pair of shoes.

Cheers. Hope you're shaking off that hangover. Sounded a bad one but glad the medical professionals gave you the TLC that is usually so cruelly denied to the savagely hungover.

The wrists are understandable because of the veins I suppose and I know a few people who are squeamish about that. Not sure I know anyone else who has it with the left side of their groin though! I quite often have a dream someone has me in a hold and they have their foot on the sensitive part and I can’t get out of it and the more I struggle the more pressure is on it and it’s absolutely horrible for me, the worst kind of torture.

My vasectomy was horrific - the injections were like getting booted in the balls, then having them stretch, shave and slice the balls. If you ever need one then ask to be under a general anes  knocked out.

The thought of wearing any sort of footwear without socks gives me the boak.

Some sort of cheapy man-made things just rot/stink if you wear without shoes but some quality Italian gear like that happily takes a sockless foot without getting smelly and manky. Got running shoes on this morning and they need socks. Usually wear football-type socks and leggings as they help stop me getting muscle tears. Did a few workouts with just wee trainer socks at the weekend and have tweaked a calf muscle.

A guy at work is just back from having a perianal abscess fixed.

Looks nasty.
Don’t Google it if you’re at work.

Eww. Not the same thing I was thinking of that a mate of mine had a few years back though...forget what it was called in medical terms, but it was basically the bit between the tailbone and the top of the arsecrack getting infected.

Treatment consisted of getting the area cored out to all intents and purposes and packed with dressing which had to be changed every couple of days - apparently even less fun than it sounds.

He got about six weeks off work, but according to him spent the entire time lying face down on the couch watching Homes Under The Hammer and waiting for when he could take the next lot of painkillers.

Pilonidal sinus. Probably from a cyst or abscess. Can be b*****ds to heal.
