No idea but I do remember at the end of last season Tierney was not playing when Zinchenko was injured and Arteta seemed to be avoiding playing him when it seemed he had no other option but somehow Tomayisu (RB) White(RB) and even Xhaka (CM) were being played at left back. I am sure this was my perception and the chat on here was similar at the time. I am not going through the Arsenal team sheets to from last year to prove it. It seemed clear that Arteta really didn't fancy him. Back to the point that Tierney returning to Arsenal under Arteta is probably not great for him as he seems to really be a last resort for Arteta. Xhaka definitely did, I remember watching it. Chewing Taffies Posted January 5 Share Posted January 5 Arteta seemingly in the market for a new LB. Makes the whole Tierney situation even more bizarre. He was 5th choice LB at Arsenal and now they would rather sign a new LB while he is out on loan.
