It wasn't luck. His signings were pish and he seemed unable to motivate the players at his disposal. We were heading for 9th at best. It's no coincidence that we're unbeaten in 5 (and one of the two most in-form teams in the division) since Caldwell binned all the Archie duds and brought in his own.

Not sure tbh. Archie signed several real duds in the summer and the results were very poor. His tactics and substitutions were predictable, the fans turned against him and he had to go.  It was sad end as he got us to into the top 6 in the SPL. Bizarrely, it went steeply downhill in the playoffs and the following season. There was plenty of time for his luck to change but it didn't and the board had to act .

Saturday night at 5 to 8?

Wimbledon v West Ham in the 4th round was at a similar time. It seems to be a new time slot for live TV games.
