resk
They were saying on BT there that the crowd for the recent Sunderland game was 10k, with 8k being away fans. Expected crowd tonight is 3k home and 5k Arsenal.Norwegian telly is showing this game (Arsenal reserves one up already) after showing Man United and Chelsea already today. What a minter of a selection. Show something competitive FFS.

Blackpool of course are a famous cup team, with the Matthew's Final and Mortenson's hat-trick, so they are a "romantic" team for TV selections. They've done f**k all for years though, so it's a bit like showing East Fife or Dundee in the Scottish Cup.
lichtie23
Gayfield has a better playing surface than Blackpool’s ground. Rather embarrassing
lichtie23
2-0 now in a game that nobody cares about and a terrible tv selection
Only one David Marsh
The televised cup ties have so far been rubbish, the premier league reserve teams haven't needed to play well to win
welshbairn
Haven't read back in the thread or been watching but it's sad how many teams are putting the reserves on. Maybe the FA Cup winners should get a Champions League spot.

The Naitch
What a tremendous counter attack from Portsmouth for that 95th minute winner. Kudos to the local radio commentary going absolutely tonto as well!

Deary me It looked like it may have taken a slight nick off one of the defenders before it got to him. The boy on the post looked a bit surprised/wrong footed. Only explanation I can think of
