This time with Alan Partridge

OK so it wasn't an on air burst at Alan, but the walk off from Jennie was brewing from episode one.  And Partridge seemed delighted about it.

Clearly not enjoying it when they went on air though.

Thought it was great as he then proceeded to read both their scripts off the teleprompter which was obviously a continual balls-up.

From the closing scene though it doesn't look as if there's going to be another series!

Hope he's not gone and bought a 5 bedroomed b*****d house with Buck Rogers toilet....

There will be another Alan Partridge vehicle next year on BBC, it won't be This Time though.

I'm hoping for either a Grand Designs or Top Gear parody.

Thought that last episode was brilliant, need to watch it again just so many one-liners. Absolute carnage at times  The opening scene with Jenny, In the police station being interrogated repeating the old name, rank, serial number style... "Alan Glendale... 7 Partridge Road"

The sleep cam.

Calling up "Bear and Ray"

Glorious tv

"I know what your game is - you're trying to use flannel and waffle to avoid answering difficult questions until we're out of time. Well, newsflash, ain't gonna happen. Wait, no, it has happened - gentlemen, thank you very much!"

And to the woman stuck on the ledge:

"Help will be with you within an hour!"
"I haven't told you where I ---- " <click>

"Strong coat for sale."

ETA: Again, it's the little details, like Simon silently mouthing along from the autocue as Alan is talking about getting arrested.

I'd have said that Top Gear was beyond parody... but then I'd have said the same thing about The One Show!
