Miguel Sanchez
As I caught up on this thread, I've had this in my head the whole time:

Detournement
What they really mean is " "We remain committed as a party to rinsing our expenses and drinking and eating as much subsidised food and bev as possible until we get booted out by the voters and can claim our pensions. Therefore we do not give a flying f**k what we are called."
AngusTheBull
The Guardian ‘Today in Focus’ podcast from yesterday is worth a listen. The title (‘Change UK: How not to set up a political party’) sums it up really but it sounded like an absolute shambles. Umunna really is an odious, shameless c**t. A centrist Boris Johnson.
NotThePars
Umunna hasn't deleted any of his tweets slagging the Lib Dems.

Guest
How is this Democracy in action ?? The constituency of Streatham voted Labour in 2017 with a huge 68.5% of the vote and the Lib Dems came in with a paltry 6.5% of the vote. As such, how can they possibly have a Lib Dem MP representing them ??? This is not a guy becoming an independent, this is someone representing an opposition party who had been on the ballot and failed miserably but yet the people now find themselves represented by this failed party. Honestly, this country is fcuked...................
jamieson87
Are we getting a scarf above the head moment? "Lib Dems are a party I've supported since I was a boy, so it's a great honour to finally be here"

I agree in general though; these cases are obviously in need of by elections. Miguel Sanchez
Did anyone watch his speech? I know, but he said he's in his third political party of the year because of how resolutely he follows his principles. A straight face and everything!

Granny Danger
Soubry and her fellow irrelevants recording 0% support in a recent poll! https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/change-uk-independent-group-zero-support-poll-soubry-a9064186.html?utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=Feed Ironically they might still prove relevant by facilitating the No Deal Brexit that they supposedly abhor.
Detournement
It's worth remembering that Yougov managed to get them up to 14% at one point.
