Lasted less than a year at each of them. Hasn't been seriously quoted  for a decent job since and never will be again.

Obviously can't prove anything but if he had stayed at Everton I am sure he would still be managing at a decent level somewhere

Ok so not unemployable at all then - talking absolute shite man 😂

Why not just stay at Celtic and win 10IAR if he wants to become a club legend and an easy job. Just a nonsense argument.

Given his track record he will be off like a shot if he is offered  the Man U job. Financially he will gain in the short time. I am just pointing out that its not always the best move in the long term.

You can't seriously suggest it was a good career move for Moyes

PS. Sociedad, Sunderland and West Ham bigger than Leicester, that's taking the piss

Yes it was, just because he failed doesn’t mean it wasn’t a ridiculously good move for him at the time.

Sunderland and West Ham are obviously bigger clubs than Leicester you utter simpleton.

How long would a former Liverpool manager be given at Manchester United, especially with the state they are currently in behind the scenes?

This is a very good point. No way United appoint a former or current Liverpool manager.

Leicester are fucking loaded and have a great team. I think Rogers would like another season working with them.

They currently have a better first team than Arsenal or Man United.

Arsenal still seem reticent to splash the cash.

Man United are maybe moving in the right direction but have had to pay way over the odds for the two English defenders they picked up in the Summer.

If I was playing Football Manager I'd stick with Leicester for another season or two.

Winning 33% of your games isn't 'moving in the right direction' for Manchester United, tbh.

Why not stay and see if he can get a job that isn't a completely hopeless task?

Exactly this. Why jump ship now when his current club are currently in a far better place and far more likely to finish above either of the clubs being speculated?

Money and ambition. Leicester aren’t a team who can consistently challenge year after year. They’re a yo-yo club. After a good season their team will be decimated and he’ll have to try and rebuild, like what happened after they won the league the first time. If he backs himself he can get a massive club on his CV, loads more money and has the opportunity to build long term success.
Ranieri was a ‘club legend’ and was sacked after a bad spell of form (losing three key players in Mahrez, Kante and Drinkwater, added to the aging defence getting a year older). Leicester will no doubt lose the likes of Tielemans, Maddison and Ndidi at the end of the season and it’ll be a very hard task to replace them.

If Leicester and Rodgers keep going the way they have been this season they’ll achieve a Champions League place, which might entice those players to stay. Might also put them in a good position to put a hefty valuation on them.

Due to Man Utd and Arsenal’s utterly bizarre signings, retentions & releases in recent years, whoever the next managers are will have a big rebuilding job on their hands. They will likely be faced with far tighter restraints and resistance too, such as getting shot of some utter dross on big money deals.

They're a basket case. Have been even towards the end of Fergie's days in charge.

Wan-Bissaka and Harry the Farmer were decent signings but who else there would get in Leicester's first team? In fact Maguire and Aaron would struggle.

Man United are a good year or two away from moving back towards the top 4. Probably longer if the Glaziers and their little bitch Woodward remain in-situ!

The other thing Rogers and anyone else need to think about is that once someone does (and they will eventually) turn these massive clubs round, that job won't come up for a while. Its all very well calling them basket cases but thats that only way the job comes up. You cant dismiss thye fact that in this game, you arent likely to get offered the job of Man U on top of the world.

You really think United fans are going to accept Brendan Rogers as their manager? The man that "bottled it" at Liverpool in 2014? Very good.
They are busy accepting utter mediocrity, Ed Woodward and the Glazers.

I highly doubt anyone in a position of power at Man U gives a f**k what the fans think

Man Utd fans will accept what they're given, just as they have with every other decision the club has made.
Plenty EPL tourists and season ticket waiting lists to hoover up anyone that stays away.

Man Utd are just another EPL superfranchise. The days of club identity preventing an appointment like this are ling gone IMO.

You might not see a direct massive player transfer the two, but the idea that Rogers association with Liverpool years ago would deter the money men, if they were convinced he was otherwise roght for the club is naive.
