He's comfortable on the ball and gets his head up, which takes the pressure off the other defenders. Say what you want about lack of game time but he’s been so so much better than McGinn for scotland. As for Brophy. It’s not ideal. But we just have no good strikers. Richie Posted June 8, 2019 Share Posted June 8, 2019 (edited) Don't see the outcry with Brophy tbh. Give him his chance. Griffiths, 2 Free Kicks aside, was pretty shite for Scotland. Look at NI. Had players like Healy and Lafferty scoring barrel-loads at international level. Maybe Brophy will work in this team. Edit: Div Turnbull should be in all 11 positions though.
