Jaggy Snake Posted June 8, 2019 Share Posted June 8, 2019 (edited) I wouldn't be surprised if Clarke's last instructions were when Cyprus have the ball the defenders and sitting midfielders should just sit in. Certainly that's the way it's looking, and Cyprus have generally given the ball away after a few sideways passes. The one chance they did create came from a Scotland player rushing out to try and intercept the ball, leaving a massive gap in behind. A little patience is what we need but typically fans start moaning instantly. Managers must rightly think most fans are morons.
