glensmad
...on a quagmire.... Behave yourself. Yes, the pitch was soft, but what grass pitch isn't soft in mid January ? Considering the rain that has fallen in the past week or two, and the overnight ice which made the streets around the stadium very dodgy at 9am this morning, the park was in remarkably good condition. We're not all fortunate enough to have our local council build us a 3G pitch. Calling it a quagmire is insulting to our hard-working groundsman who is 77 years old, and it just makes you look stupid.

Pitch was soft but would be same everywhere today. No excuses from us was a end to end game and congrats on an important win. We have dragged ourselves into a lot of trouble unfortunately having not taken anything from the bottom 3.

Apart from beating Rutherglen H and Rob Roy A ... but last 3 games against Rabs, Troon and Ruggie for nil points have been hard to take

Thought considering its a grass pitch in January that it was in cracking nick.
F_T_Y
I can see why the pitch is waterlogged all the time, the rain must gather at the bottom of the slope.

Yes, the changing room end is where the problems are when the rain is heavy.
glensmad
Did Clydebank have anybody filming the game yesterday ? Gerry was on his way home from holiday so we have no highlights unless Bankies had somebody there, but I didn't see anyone.

Guest Mr Happy
Going to be a long summer for the boss, he has an overhaul to oversee [emoji52] that’s what’s needed if we want to move on from this mediocrity. C’mon Bankies

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the pitch yesterday considering the horrible weather. and big up to your grounds man for getting the pitch playable [emoji106][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]
Lokloyal
I can’t see Clydebank being in relegation trouble as there are a number of others who seem stuck below them. Disappointed with Heppy but we had seen the issues-the unavailability due to Rangers matches, inability to play 90 minutes with any impact, and the ability to impact only from the bench if things go his way and he looks interested. If he comes on and can’t beat his man the head is down and that’s it for the day

Guest Mr Happy
By the wording of the post, to me he was implying he was there. If he wasn’t there, why not just ask the question outright
