Some clubs have lights which can be winched down. Jeanfield's lights turn around. Not heard of generators/rechargeables before but if you took the wheels off and put them up on bricks they wouldn't move... LongTimeLurker
Recharging large lithium batteries is best done indoors where it's dry, so if it is battery based better to trundle them back to a suitable charging point in a storage container. If you have grass rather than 3G like Camelon there's no obvious need for lights to be out every day of the week.

Ginaro
https://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/football/floodlights-up-at-camelon-to-gain-sfa-licence-and-membership-bid-1-5020999 There are rumours of more stringent floodlight requirements, especially to do with the height of the poles. But if the whole point of the floodlight requirement was for hosting Friday night Scottish Cup games then for teams below the Lowland League surely licensing could allow portable ones to be brought in for such an occasion.

I believe for 2021, clubs must have a minimum of 200 lux for entry level, as opposed to a recommended minimum as it is currently. The SFA probably have been watching clubs throw up lights, some of them fairly poor. That will pose a few problems for some clubs. If I have this right, those who have basically used street lamp poles don't need to apply for planning as they are below a certain height (could be wrong with that).

Enjoyed the game last night, good performance.

8MileBU
My missus has just shown me a video on Facebook of the smouldering remains of the cabin at Carmuirs. Absolutely fucking disgusting. Hope whatever vermin are responsible are apprehended, weighted with bricks and flung in the canal.
