glensmad
£6 and £3 is the correct price to charge for Championship and Premiership teams at home. £5 and (I think) £2.50 for League One and League Two teams at home.

Those are indeed the prices specified in the WRSJFA rule book. AFAIK there's no indication that these are either minimum or maximum prices so presumably they should be adhered to.

Kennie
The group winners round, being played on Monday 12th August is still under league rules. Quarter-finals onward for knock out rules.

Someone should tell the WRSJFA (and the clubs) that price fixing is a serious offence under the Competition Act 1998. Every club could be fined up to 10% of its annual turnover.

Quarter-finals onward for knock out rules. This has been causing confusion. Most people will look at this as 16 sectional groups and the knock out stage begins at the round of 16. This confusion would have been avoided by the Region using plain English and saying "Trialists are still allowed in the round of 16 clubs" as that's basically what it boils down to. I know technically the Region has still said this in a roundabout way - but how many people look at this competition as 8 groups? EDIT : Ok, it will be more obvious it is 8 groups when the two sections in each group are re-drawn next year. But these first two years it isn't as obvious to your average punter. Hopefully none, because the competing clubs are split into 8 SECTIONS, and each section is drawn into 2 GROUPS, making 16 groups in total! It will (hopefully) be more obvious it is 8 SECTIONS when the two GROUPS in each SECTION are re-drawn next year. Got it yet?
