Mostly young enough that they might improve and tbf they have been a mixed bag. Signings of old pros with good track records like Naismith, Berra and Whelan were no doubt expensive but unsurprisingly are good - when fit. But signings like Bozanic, Damour, White and McLean are just utterly, utterly, utterly pointless. At their very, very best they are mediocre, but they are old enough that they won’t develop and improve and they just block progression of any good young academy players. Levein has left us with an enormous, expensive squad of mediocre players with so little confidence that they are underperforming even that mediocrity.
